Hello CrazySilence! :eye: Welcome to the forum! :nemo: I hope that you have a great time on the forum discussing the latest Disney topics! :)
On the topic of a 2nd Lizzie McGuire boxset, there has unfortunately been no word on any future releases of Lizzie McGuire DVDs since last years release of the 1st Lizzie boxset. Lizzie fans are hoping that, like last year with the 1st Lizzie release, Disney will release a statement explaining the 2nd boxset in August and then the actual boxset will be released in November, just in time for the holiday season. Since that there are many fans of Lizzie McGuire, the Disney Channel and Hilary Duff, I thought that this release would be a bestseller but according to purchase numbers from Amazon.com, it didn't sell as well as us Lizzie fans hoped for. Many Lizzie fans are worried that these numbers are significant enough to jeopardise furthur Lizzie McGuire releases, as they might never release all the boxsets, or they might delay the releases. There is an online petition however, that I found at the Lizzie McGuire forum at TVTome.com and it will be mailed to Disney in Sept/Oct if there is enough names of people that have signed. The peitition is for people wishing for a second Lizzie boxset and if the heads at Disney take this petition into account we might certainly have our wish of more Lizzie McGuire boxsets.
So I encourage not only you but all Lizzie McGuire fans to sign this petition at this link - http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/liz ... reboxsets/ - and all the episodes of Lizzie McGuire will be released onto home video for every one to enjoy.
Sign the petition and have fun at Ultimate Disney! :)

Another reason for the delay could be that Disney Channel wants to air the show as much as possible and get every last dime from it that they can. When people own the show or movie on DVD, they are much less inclined to watch it on TV. I personally own all but the last season of Friends and I never watch it on TV anymore because of it.

In Australia, the Magna Pacific company owns the rights to the "Lizzie McGuire" series, and they've released box sets of Season 1 and Season 2.

If you've got a multi-region player, this might be worth exploring.

Of the teen sitcoms on Disney Channel the only one I enjoy is Even Stevens. The other shows I just don't like.

Even Stevens is definently the best Disney Channel Original Show without a doubt. But Lizzie McGuire was the most popular.

I'm not sure how well Lizzie sold, but I do know that Disney didn't have high expectations for it to begin with, so I doubt it fell below what they were hoping for. I don't have V1 (yet), but I am hoping for a V2 announcement sometime this year. Maybe if they promoted it a bit better, it would sell more. I signed the petition, for what it's worth.

While I enjoyed this show for about a month, the reruns on ABC were always playing the same three or four episodes every week and it got very annoying.

The show was okay, it wasn't the best ever seen, but it came off of the Disney Channel. It's excellent compared to some of the stuff they get away with playing on there.

Thank you Sofa! I was proud of it as well! And yes I want That's So Raven, Phil of the Future and Even Stevens on DVD- Season Sets!
ChayChay- I love your avatar! Where'd you get it?
Cordy_Biddle- 11 out of 12 Lizzie McGuire DVDs have been released in Australia, as well as 4 Lizzie McGuire DVD Singles, with one episode on them, including Movin' On Up, Missadventures in Babysitting, When Mom's Attack and Lizzie Strikes Out.
EDIT- Missadventures in Babysitting actually isn't one of the DVD Singles, Come Fly With Me is instead. I just got mixed up and I noticed when I was re-reading it that it was incorrect. Sorry! And not sure whether that's how you spell Missadventures. Oh well. I'm sure someone will correct me, eventually.

the UK has 2 Box sets (Episodes 1-43), (almost) same cover than the australian ones, germany 10 DVDs and 2 Box Sets (but with less than 40 eps) - you see the USA is slow ;-)
But I wish that would fit to other titles aswell :-(

If you have a multi-region dvd player (what you rreally should have if you don't live in R1 regions), only the 5 last episodes are a problem anymore

it's just....the UK Boxset has less extras than the US version i guess.

Yes I also agree that Lizzie McGuire is one of the best recent Disney Channel Shows. Alongside with Even Stevens/Kim Possible/ Proud Family.
