Universal Legacy Horror

Post by creid »

I am middle of watching the Creature From The Black Lagoon Legacy trilogy. In this case, I am watching with the excellent commentary track and having scares & laughs.

Julie Adams looks great in that swimsuit.

Darkness Falls

Finally... a scary movie that I actually liked and was actually frightening. It's a shame that I had to watch it on TV though I should of rented it. Now I ruined it for myself. Way to go!!! :headshake:

I'll never lose any of my teeth again. :P

Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
I liked it! Definitely...Tim Burton added something to it. Johnny Depp was good in the movie too. Had my laughs, and Ryan liked it..so no money wasted there. :p

Took a friend to see Fantastic Four yesterday. Would have preferred to see CatCF again, but FF's cool.

all the PLANET OF THE APES movies.

I saw them over the weekend.
Spirit Alien

I have the spirit of an alien.
I need to find my own kind.
I must shed off the dreadful human skin.
It is very uncomfortable.

All six or just the originals?

I love having Planet of the Apes marathons where I watch all five originals, then the TV series (live action) and then the Tim Burton remake.

I just finished watching Romancing the Stone. Can't go wrong with an 80's classic! 8)
Buffy: We have a marching jazz band?
Oz: Yeah, but, you know, since the best jazz is improvisational, we'd be going off in all directions, banging into floats... scary.

The Fugitive was just on TNT. Man, it looks so good in HD. I can't wait until they start releasing HD-DVDs.

Gremlins and Gremlins 2. It's so refreshing watching a movie w/ NO cheesy fake-looking computer effects. :D

But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Dug up our old videotape of The Matrix (1999) when I noticed our DVD was missing. I had forgotten how good that movie truly is. :)

Cidade de Deus aka City of God

I love this movie but everytime I want to see it I rent it. Guess it's worth a purchase if I keep renting it... :)

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (the Tim Burton Version) Very entertaining all though the Oompas were freaky . I really liked the whole back story on Willy Wonka when he was a child. Also being able to see what happened to all the kids after they got caught in thier werid predicatments. And Johnny Depp was great :) 2 thumbs way way up

Also 40 days/ 40 nights didnt like it :headshake:  (Justin is not allowed to pick a movie for the next month)
Disney... Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And dreams are Forever

I was forced to watch this because of Ryan's parents many months ago. ("this is a good movie, this is a good movie! let's watch this!") :p But it had a cute story. :)

We just watched Man of the House with Tommy Lee Jones. Fun movie to watch. I mean, you'd think I get annoyed with cheerleaders, but it was a funny movie (mainly because of the Cedric and Tommy mix).
