Hi
Yes,
As LUke has stated before if you have questions on a Disney Movie, check for it in the search. Or check the extensive dvd review database on the site and see if it might have been reviewed.

Old Yeller sequel 'Savage Sam'
I had never known, either, until a couple of years ago, when I was in Walmart. I believe that night I purchased the Old Yeller Vault Disney 2-disc DVD (I had purchased the VHS Vault version of this earlier, and now wanted the format upgrade.). I looked at the other Disney movies in the display, and picked up Savage Sam to read the back cover.
"Wow! A sequel!" I thought, and purchased it.
It isn't as strong as the original movie -- Old Yeller is a tough act to follow -- but I'm loyal to the genre, just the same. I'm amazed I never came across Sam growing up with the Disney Channel.
I ask Disney to bring back their older -- and not so old (Rocketeer!) -- fare on their channels. I have to search the Hallmark Channel lineup for Disney live action offerings... and you have 2 or more channels of your own (+ ToonDisney). I believe you would widen your purchasing audience if you presented more of your library.
Sure, some movies are dated, but is Disney the only studio to make 'dated' movies? Take a look around the bookstores and the bargain bins of the dept. stores for dated products -- MGM classics, Dick Van Dyke episodes, etc. Watch 'Footloose' and tell me THAT isn't dated. Think about it.
Let the public taste what others have enjoyed in the past. I watched the original Mickey Mouse Club during its '70s syndication run, and would enjoy more of it. Why? Because I had fun watching it, and I want to experience that again. Thanks, Disney for the recent releases of the Club, by the way. Please consider offering seasons 1-3.

Hi
I can see that the ole Disney Guru, needs to step out of the vault and give a distant history lesson on the release issues of Savage Sam.
Before it recieved it's dvd release in 2003.
In 1986 Walt Disney had released it on VHS:
VHS Cover Art:

Before the dvd came out, you had to pay $45+ for this rare VHS on the online marketplace. Now it is obtainable for bout $15.
Hope that this helped ya'll.
