What Non-Disney Movie Did You Just Watch? Vol. 2
Just saw Amélie and man... I so love this movie. I've now attached Amélie's personality to Audrey Tautou and am in complete love with her--she's so wonderful (and damn adorable). *.*
The ending was also <<looovely with "La Valse d'Amélie" playing as Amélie and Nino went on that bikeride. Ah... so great. x3>> One of the greatest movie soundtracks, ever.<3

Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events: Carrey was just being Carrey. Aside from creating a cool disguise for Count Olaf, he didn't add anything extrodanary or original. It's the kids that are excellent in this movie. The kids that play Sunny and Violet were great in this movie. They really made me feel sorry for these characters. And the baby was funny!
I also liked the score and the Tim Burton-like style to it. Overall it does drags at points, but I overall enjoyed it. 7/10
Fantastic Four: A fun movie. It was shockingly short.(1 hour and 15 minutes!) But I still liked it. Most of the acting was good and the story was fun. 8/10

That's funny because I went to some theater in Santa Barbara and the theater said the movie was showing every 1 and 20 minutes or somethings like that. In fact even I thought it was pretty short. But when I went on the internet to prove you wrong, all the places on the internet I found said it was 2 hours and 3 minutes long. I guess I saw a different movie or something.DisneyFan 2000 wrote:Are you sure? I was sure it was close to 2 hours!Timon/Pumba fan wrote:It was shockingly short.(1 hour and 15 minutes!)

Really? Kind of a reverse effect on me...DisneyFan 2000 wrote:Star Wars - Episode III - Yes, again. The more I see it, the better it gets.

Got home a few days ago and have gone movie crazy:
Fantastic Four
A fun, cheesy, 106 minute romp (just to prove you both wrong, I timed it

7 1/2/10
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Willy Wonka! Willy Wonka! The amazing chocolatier! Johnny Depp is hilarious, the sets are a visual treat and Burton's quirkiness is in overdrive. Great film the whole family will enjoy.
9/10
Bad News Bears
Dragged by girlfriend to this... actually pretty good. Billy Bob Thornton's a hoot with these kids, though it is a little too raunchy for it's target 8-13 audience. Still very funny.
7 1/2/10
The Island
Trippy sci-fi flick that combines Logan's Run, Minority Report and A.I. It took a while for it to grow on me, but it's pretty good. Excellent effects.
8/10
