Aladdin: Platinum Edition, back in the top 10!

Post by MadonnasManOne »

According to sales data, Aladdin: Platinum Edition sold enough copies to come in at #10 on VideoScan's Top 10 selling discs, for the list date of July 3, 2005.

Very cool!

The list is as follows:

1.) The Pacifier
2.) Diary of a Mad Black Woman
3.) Hitch
4.) Coach Carter
5.) Miss Congeniality 2
6.) Hostage
7.) Tarzan II
8.) Madea's Class Reunion
9.) Madea's Family Reunion
10.) Aladdin: SE

You can see the list, here:

Scroll down to the DVD Format Stats section for the list.

And Mulan, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Brother Bear all cracked the Top 20 too:

Think it had anything to do with the price drops?

I am sure it does. I, myself, bought Brother Bear because of the price drop. It's just good to see them doing well, even if it is short lived.

By the way, Luke, do you happen to know what the #1 selling DVD of 2005 is, so far? I've heard that it is The Incredibles, but I haven't seen a list of the top selling DVD's of 2005, so far.

Thanks, Luke. I am glad to see The Incredibles, and several other Disney/BV titles, doing well.

The Incredibles ranks as one of my all time favorite movies, and I am very pleased to see it at #1! :)
