Re: Herbie: Fully Loaded (Cover Art?)
Actually what made the movie bomb was a combination of Lohan and Herbie. I don't know any huge fans of Lohan and most of the new generation isn't familiar with the old Herbie movies. I knew it would flop, yet everyone thought it would make pass 100 million! I don't get it!SofaKing381222 wrote:DVD Answers.com has posted possible cover art for Herbie: Fully Loaded

As for the cover, I like it! It's plain and simple, which is most likly what what Disney was going for. I also like Herbie smiling!
I believe that's called: Plastic Surgery!*Andy* wrote:Actually when you look real close at her, the whole of her looks fake lol, Its not Lindsay looks more like some CGI modeland the cheek just looks majorly fake haha
Re: Herbie: Fully Loaded (Cover Art?)
It's already passed its production budget by $10 million domestically, and that's before you factor in international grosses and video sales. It can't be qualified as a "bomb." Did it perform below some expectations? Certainly, and I'm sure that Disney would have liked a gross closer to Lohan's Freaky Friday than Parent Trap. Nonetheless, in a year when so many things are failing to even gross their production budgets, Herbie cannot be labeled a bomb, a flop, or a failure. In fact, it's Disney's 2nd highest grossing film of 2005 so far.Timon/Pumba fan wrote:Actually what made the movie bomb was a combination of Lohan and Herbie. Well, with 3,500 screens it should be!Luke wrote:In fact, it's Disney's 2nd highest grossing film of 2005 so far.
Here's some more rumours on the disc contents
When Herbie: Fully Loaded hits DVD later this year, the little VW will have a commentary track of his own. No word if he'll actually speak or - God help us - just beep. Speaking to Sci Fi Wire, director Angela Robinson says that work on the disc is underway and that she and the cast already have completed their commentary tracks. Expect plenty of deleted scenes, including a subplot with Breckin Meyer that was completely excised from the theatrical release, along with behind-the-scenes featurettes and "cast insights." Herbie opens theatrically on June 24th.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
Man, this DVD cover is ugly, I was rather hoping for the poster look on the DVD cover. This makes me want to gag. Whoever is in charge of creating DVD covers at Disney needs to be sacked.
And I'm kind of glad, Herbie made a little more than 60 million. And what Luke said is true, some movies are BARELY making their production budgets or not (ahem The Island, ahem Stealth)
