What is the mmc?
I remember a show called Teen Angel on TGIF a while ago about the time Disney took over ABC. It began with two teenage friends and the dark haired one ate a really old cheeseburger and died the first five minutes and came back as his friend's teen guardian angel or something. The mother was played by the woman who played Marsha (or Maurcia?) from the Brady Bunch. I think the little sister of the guy who didn't die was the girl who played the little sister in Smart House and Au Pair.
If this is what you are talking about, I don't know if there is any plans for a DVD.

Ohh...I don't think we were talking about the same thing. The Teen Angel I was talking about was a sitcom on TGIF on ABC (1997 - 1998):Disneybell wrote:the show was great it had jason priestly on it and jennie garth ( both ended up on 90210) the mmc was the mickey mouse club the ramake of the show

Was your Teen Angel like another tv show in MMC? Like how there is Moody's Point on the Amanda Show and Emerald Cove on the later MMC and the Hardy Boys on the original Mickey Mouse Club?
Teen Angel Returns
Anybody here old enough to remember the serial "Teen Angel Returns" that was on the Mickey Mouse Club back in the late 60's? It was filmed in our hometown of Ogden, Utah. Our daughter was in it briefly so it has special meaning to us. Been looking for the dvd of it if there is such a thing, but I think I'm looking for a needle in a haystack. Anyone happen to know if it even exists? Thanks a lot.

Well, unfortunately, there has only been one DVD released with episodes of the '90's Mickey Mouse Club, which was just called MMC I think. It was "The Best of Britney, Justin, and Christina", so it only had the later episodes which were after the Teen Angel years I think. I don't believe the show ever had a VHS release. So, we just have to push for them to release this stuff on DVD...

I have a very, very poor quality version of both "Teen Angel" and "Teen Angel Returns" on DVD. I'm currently in the process of getting a better copy of them (the sound is out of sync on all of the second one, and half of the first one).
I was watching them recently and I completely forgot that Robin Lively (aka 'Teen Witch') was in "Teen Angel Returns"! I had a huge crush on her growing up
You can either PM me, or email me. I'm not sure how long it will be before I get better copies, but a 4.5/10 is better quality than a 0/10...right?

Me, three! Maybe this means that we need a late '90s TV show thread...?bluemoon86 wrote:Glad to know I'm not the only one that that thought that.SofaKing381222 wrote:Aw... Ha, is that the one about the genie? Wasn't it a male genie? I'd love to see a show like that brought back, but with a female genie, ha. Actually, I'd even rather see a bigscreen "I Dream of Jeannie"...disneyfella wrote:I actually have that too, though I'm working on some format issues.
I'm on the lookout, though, for another short lived Disney series from around that time called "You Wish". If anyone is up for a trade, let me know.
Anyway, I had a thing for Robin Lively too back then, if she's who I am thinking of (the main character in Teen Witch, right?). Not one of my huge obsessions, but I did like her. Also had a big crush on a Mouseketeer named Brandy Brown, even moreso after meeting her one year when she was staying at the same hotel in San Antonio (or somewhere in Texas). I snapped a picture of her, with her permission, but didn't get to BE in the picture with her because we were alone at the time.

Teen Angel and Teen Angel Returns
Anyone remember these? I can barely remember either one, but i'm looking high and low for someone with access to these. Obviously not released on vhs or dvd, but let me know if you know where I can find it. This was the one with Jason Priestley.
