They have been showing this a lot in the theatres lately. The first one was hilarious and the original cast is back for the sequel! I hope the second is as good as the original but I think it's too soon to tell. What they show in the theatres is just a short teaser; it shows nothing from the actual movie. I really want to see the trailer to find out what the movie is about (obviously everything is melting but is that it?). I would hate for it to be a let down but I doubt it will be. I'll probably see it.

Meh, just another CG comedy flick. Looks funny, but really, well... Unimaginative.

I actually liked the first one. But I wonder how they can spin the sequel. I mean, they already returned the baby... Hopefully they can come up with a good idea. :D

CountingDown.com has a lot of info on the movie. It is opening March 31, 2006. Here is what else I found:
Who's in it? Queen Latifah , Denis Leary , Ray Romano , John Leguizamo

What's it about? Manny, Sid and Diego return in another incredible adventure. The Ice Age is coming to an end, and the animals are delighting in their new world: a melting paradise of water parks, geysers and tar pits. But when Manny, Sid and Diego discover that the miles of melted ice will flood their valley, they must warn everyone and somehow figure out a way to escape the coming deluge.
Queen Latifah? She is in this one? The story could be better but I'm sure this will be as hilarious if not more than the first.

Or you can download it directly on to your computer from here (large 20.3 Mb or Medium 9.2 Mb) This has been available since 12 July, I should have posted the link, it has also been available in a flash version since March.

If you're talking about the trailer links I just posted, yes it is. But Scrat is very funny. It's interesting that he was not originally in the first movie.

After reading what the movie is about, it might sound hilarious. :p I mean, after watching that trailer I was thinking, " stupid squirrel (add in little chuckle)", and to think there's an actual story to it now! Plus, I was wondering what happened to the other animals that froze; looks like this movie will answer that question!

Scart will finally get nuts? or he will starve forever?

The teaser looks hilarious! Glad to see that the squirrel is back! :D

As for a sequel I won't mind it as long as Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary all return.

I must bring up that when we were watching the previews before Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, all the kids and old people were laughing! Not so much the adults, but the old people were laughing (cute. there's like a BIG senior discount when it comes to movies.)!

After seeing it twice on the big screen, I can't get tired of it. I'm actually more eager to see it! 8) I always crack up (now) when the squirrel's body fills with water.
