Target to sell DISNEY DVDS for $10!!!
From JULY 3-9 target has some DISNEY DVDS to sell for $10, just in case you missed out on $8.99 BESTBUY deal. The movie are pretty much the same ones that BESTBUY offered a week ago.

I work at a grocery store and they're running some ad over the radio system saying we're selling Disney classics for $9.99 this week. Pretty weird since we don't do really have a big video section or anything. All the videos go for $19.99 the first week then we jack them up to $22.99 for the rest of the time we have them in stock.

We ent to Target Saturday night and I saw them displayed for 19.99. I was wondering why the heck they were displaying those DVDs. Also a bit of good or bad news (depending who you are), there was a display for the Pacifier and they were ALL GONE except for a few VHS copies and next to it was a FULL stack of Cadet Kelly.MICKEYMOUSE wrote:From JULY 3-9 target has some DISNEY DVDS to sell for $10, just in case you missed out on $8.99 BESTBUY deal. Anyhow, the DVDs on sale are classic animated films, films derived from Disney attractions, and a random sequel. As listed in the newspaper ad:
Aladdin
Mulan
Brother Bear
Mickey*Donald*Goofy The Three Musketeers
Pirates of the Caribbean
Country Bears
Haunted Mansion
Inspector Gadget 2
I already have all the animated ones so I might get Haunted Mansion and/or Country Bears.

It's weird cause I was just at target on Friday and they had those movies on sale for $10 already. I'm surprised they are still being on sale for that price. I already have all those that I'm interested in though I'm still unsure if I want to get Haunted Mansion. It wasn't one that I was all that impressed with.

Yay, that is weird. A lot of stores mess up when all these crazy sales and releases have specific dates. Our Acme Supermarket always puts DVDs for sale waaay to early. I remember seeing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, MIckey's House of Villains, and Aladdin Platinum Edition out on shelves the weekend before the release.Disney Lover wrote:It's weird cause I was just at target on Friday and they had those movies on sale for $10 already. I thought Country Bears was okay but I'm not sure if I should really get it. Also, I haven't seen Haunted Mansion yet so I dunno if it's all right to blindly purchase it. I do have a Target gift card but I was hoping to use it on the Kingdom Hearts GBA game.

Yea, it is!PrincessJen wrote:Is brother bear worth a buy. i'm thinking of getting it

from the Review:
I bought it as a blind buy and enjoyed the movie and the DVD as a whole!Even if Brother Bear can't quite rank among the studio's greatest films, the movie is highly commendable and this satisfying 2-disc release once again gives the latest Disney animated classic the proper treatment it deserves.

as for Target having a $10.00 sale, that's good. That means Alan can get his DVDs at a cheap price!

I bought Brother Bear at Best Buy for the $8.99 deal, and I got to see it for the 1st time ever last night..........I thougt it was an OK movie
I swaer it was like watching POCHANTAS + LION KING = BROTHER BEAR, but the Brother Bear was not as good as any of the two. I mean if your DVD collector like me (all DISNEY ANMI.) I would definitly buy the DVD!! But if not, I would rent it 1st. It's a type of LOVE/HATE movie.

The Disney Movie Club is having a 50th Anniversary sale until August 28th. Alice in Wonderland is on sale for $10.97. You could join (if you have Disney movies in mind that you want to buy over the next two years) or you could get someone to buy it for you that's already in the club.rb_canadian181 wrote:Aww man! Yeah we have all those titles for $9.99 too. Disney must have had too many copies of those certain titles or something and sent them out to stores to sell for $10.Kram Nebuer wrote:Anyhow, the DVDs on sale are classic animated films, films derived from Disney attractions, and a random sequel.
