Animated Opening Scene Survivor - Round 10 - Closed

Post by Disney-Fan »

Welcome to the Animated Opening Scene SURVIVOR Round 10.

Please note if you do not have 50 posts, your vote will not be counted.

This is a contest in which we aim to find out what UD members think is the most dramatic, intense, epic or climatic opening to an animated feature film. Please remeber, we are voting for a specific scene, not the movie as a whole. Please vote accordingly.

Everyone is welcome! You do not need to have voted in previous rounds.

Rules are simple. 1 film will leave and not make it through to the next round, there are 3 days for voting with every round.

We are voting for the opeing sequence we like least!

We each have 1 vote! You vote for 1 film!

Please make your votes in bold if making a long post which mentions more than one film to avoid confusion.

Happy voting!

I hate to do this, but Aladdin - Arabian Nights is the weakest of the bunch.

Strong beginning, but a terrible movie, and way too ponderous.
But that opening scene is incredible! :o well, when you compare it to Aladdin - Arabian Nights. ;)

Aladdin - Arabian Nights

Everything in the opening is goofy. The camels, the salesman, the song, everything. IMO, B&tB should be up there instead of this one. This one's alongside something like TLM's opening. It shows the place the story will take place in, but it isn't a "serious" opening.

Beauty and the Beast's opening is incredible, but it isn't intense or dramatic as some of the more modern films (which was the point of this survivor thread).

How can people vote of Aladdin when Atlantis is still in there. Aladdin was a great beginning because of the beautiful animation and the the song got me interested.

Neither was Aladdin. That was my point.
