Open only to Americans?
I've looked at the online sign-up form for the Disney Movie club, and it only seemed able to accomodate people in the U.S. joining. So I'm just curious whether or not those of us in Canada can join the movie club, and if so would we have to call to join or something?

I sent them an e-mail about this awhile back but never received a response. I would love to be able to join the club.

yeah I saw in small characters that the club for now is only open to US residents so they they don't want the canadians to join maybe it's because we refuse the missile shield lol !! I don't think so ... but maybe in the future they will open it for us I think they'll probably have problems with the customs so maybe that's the reason
Lilo: David, I got a new dog!
David: Huh? You sure it's a dog?
Lilo: Uh-huh. He used to be a collie before he got run over.

I dont know why that promotion is featured on the Canadian site but the link just brings you straight to the regular US-based movie club and they're still not accepting orders outside of the states. I got excited and added my titles but the minute you hit the registration screen and it lists state and zip code, you realize it's not gonna happen.
I don't know why Disney wouldnt include Canada, I cant see customs or duties affecting anything considering there are other clubs that offer similar resources and Disney has a distribution center in Canada. Too bad cause I'd join, that's actually what brought me to this site in the first place. I was looking to sign up to the DMC years ago and stumbeled upon this forum... :/
