Okay ... How about a FREE Lion King DVD
This one amazes me...here goes.
Kroger's here in Indianapolis is offering the following deal.
Use your Kroger Plus Card to purchase any combination of participating products between September 18 and October 15 to accumulate dollars off the purchase of your Lion King Special Edition DVD or video.
The breakdown is as follows:
Buy 5 Products - Get $5 Off Lion King DVD
Buy 10 Products - Get $10 Off
Buy 15 Products - Get $15 Off
Buy 20 Products - Get a FREE Lion King DVD
We had to do our normal grocery shopping today and we purchased 16 qualifying products...nothing out-of-the-ordinary or in excess of what we would normally get. We're talking products like Corn Flakes, Frosted Min-Wheats, Minute Maid Fruit Juice, Cheese-Its, etc., etc.
If you have a Kroger's in your area (or store affiliated with Krogers in some way) this deal is there for you to jump all over. It's an incredibly EASY way to get a free Lion King DVD and you can use it as your own, for a possible Holiday gift or even as Trade Bit for a future Disney DVD release.
More details (incl. eligible product listing) can be found On Kroger's Official Site

This sounds like a nice enough deal, but I'm going to get the gift set and I'm sure this doesn't apply to that. Oh well.

Kroger is a HUGE grocery store chain nationwide.
If you don't have any in your area these are their "affiliate" stores that may also offer the same deal:
Ralphs
King Soopers
City Market
Dillons
Gerbes
Owen's
Smith's
QFC
Food4Less
Foods Co.
Also, it's not just ANY 20 items purchased, they have to be part of the promotion. Keebler, Minute Maid, Kellogg's and Kodak are a few of the participating vendors.

Ok, I must live in the middle of nowhere because we have none of those stores in my area. I've never even heard of them with the exception of Dillons and that's really far from my house...indianajdp wrote: DK--

That's because you have Winn-Dixie.catNC wrote:i've only heard of Kroger.. didn't know they had all those spin-offs. as big as the Charlotte, NC area is and how big Kroger is, I'm surprised we don't have any around here.
That's the Kroger equivalent (in terms of size) in the South, I believe.
Still, I'm surprised you don't have one of those lesser-stores in the Charlotte area.
