Oh wow! I also forgot about this show...wasn't a favorite of mine. O_o

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the girl sing in this show?
it just didn't appeal to me...after a while.

James, doing a google search, you'd be able to find out info on So Weird. :)

Only on the later ones. The first girl (Fi) left the show, and then another girl (Annie) took her place. The girl who played Annie sang. I didn't like the ones with Annie in them nearly as much as the ones with Fi. Also Fi's mom sang the theme song, and various other songs during the show

Can you tell I was a little obsessed with this show when I was a kid?

I never got into So Weird. It's interesting enough, I suppose, but there are many other Disney Channel shows I'd rather see on DVD.

This was the show that got me started on Disney Channel! I love this show! My fav was the X-mas episode. The show went downhill when they replaced the main character
We need season sets of all DCOSs and all DCOMs on DVD! And Better Cover Art!

Could not have said better myself. I loved this show and I would defintley buy all the episodes with Fi, but even I who loved watching this show stopped when the new girl came aboard, it jsut wasnt the same.

I used to watch this show. It was so wierd. The only thing I remember is Annie singing. She was kinda the first Disney Channel star to sing. Now we have Raven, Christy Carlson Ramono, Alyson Wichaka. Heck they even have a friggin "Circle of Stars". Bla! Anyways....I barely remember this show. I probably wouldn't get it if it came out on DVD. There are definetly better shows that need to be released first, like That's So Raven. :)

"So Weird" Merchandise

Post by lyfsawtchthnufly »

Now, does anyone remember that TV show they used to have on Disney called "So Weird?" That show about Fi, the girl who encounters weird stuff while she travels with her singing mom on a tour bus around the US?

Well, there are TONS of So Weird fans still out there, waiting and hoping that Disney will release suff for us to remember the show by.

DVD's are the most popular.. I think that and a soundtrack would be the best things for Disney to release.

Now according to rumor, back in November, I think, Disney bought the rights to So Weird for another 5 years, and I was just wondering... does that mean they are finally going to start releasing stuff from the TV show? Or is this just another let down for those true So Weird fans out there?

I remember that show! Mackenzie Philips was the mom and Eric VonDetten was some other guy. I'd like to see that show again just for the nostalgia. Oh, and welcome to the forum!

I don't know if anybody is interested in this news, but if you remember when Fi left, a girl took her place named Annie, played by Alexz Johnson. Alexz has a new show starting July 1st on the N called Instant Star, which I hear did well in Canada. It also has a heavy music theme, since it is about a girl who wins an American Idol-like contest.

Ah yes! I remember that show.
I have the theme in my head now!
I used to watch it alot with my sister. It wasn't the best, IMO, but it was pretty good.
Some episodes made no sence, but hey it was ok.

Yes I hope that Disney finally gets off its butt to release this show. I haven't seen it, but I would love to, and I've read rave reviews of it.

well I bought the entire collection of So Weird on DVD from a guy on ebay not too long ago, and I think he's done an amazing job of recording these high quality episodes.. even the commercials have been cut out, but I still wish Disney would do someting about this TV show just disappearing the way it did.
