I also remember a Pocahontas Parody and for some reason at Jamestown in Virginia there was the very first Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. I don't quite remember what the joke is, but I'm sure it should all make sense.

"Pocadotas" is one of my favorite sketches! As far as I can remember, Benjamin and Jerome are John Smith's sidekicks (much like Lon, Ben, and Thomas in the Disney film). Somehow the Native American introduce them to ice cream or something, and I believe it's Yakko who says "Ben and Jerry sure like ice cream!" And then the Native Americans and the Englishmen fight over who gets the ice cream, start throwing it, and John Smith gets "shot" with some, and that's why he has to go back to England. It's delightful!

Tom Jefferson stayed up to write the Constitution late at night, he and his wife had a great big fight and she made him sleep on the couch all night!

Hmm. . . just wondering, did you have the soundtrack? Wow; I really, really want to find that on CD now.

I'm not sure if it was always this way or not on the actual show, but they eventually had to correct it to "Tom Jefferson stayed up to write the Declaration late at night. . . " Heh. Oopsy. They also changed a line about the Clintons. But hey, it's yet another Animaniacs song that'll help you out in school once you've memorized it! I seriously wouldn't have minded if you went on to complete the lyrics for us here!

Hmm. . . and as for the "Be Careful What You Eat" song, some of it was also different on the soundtrack than it was on the show. . .

TV version:

original(?) CD/cassette version (I had the cassette of course, which is now lost):

Does anyone remember the Barney spoof episode? I seem to remember the freaky kids who were friends with Barney leaving him with Yakko, Wakko and Dot claiming they were going to do things like "ironing their bag".

Balogna is a dinasaur that we made up ourselves. . .

Hmm. . . as well as one of the other creepy kids saying "I gotta go do my homework, " with a smile on his face? Wow, it's been so long. And the kids say "Yay" as they scamper off, leaving Wakko, Yakko, and Dot alone with the all too happy Balongna.

They eventually sing the anvil song in an attempt to ward him off, with each verse resulting in one falling on Balogna. Of course, he's too obliviously unhappy to actually have been hurt, which frightens our heroes:

Wakko: "It's unstoppable!"
Yakko: "Call the national guard!"
Dot: "Or Nancy Kerrigan's body guard!"

Sorry to bump this thread, but here's a funny piece that I found on RetroJunk (it's a Rugrats spoof, which too needs to be released in DVD Box sets, although we know Animaniacs is pretty much coming out soon).
