You think everything is stupid and weird, MMP, unless you can buy it at Costco.

I forgot about the Good Idea, Bad Idea segments. Those were so random.
Randy Beaman's stories were hilarious. Mime Time was good to.

I'll take you guys down memory lane with some famous quotes:

Dr. Scratchansniff: "No more jokes, now, go plant yourselves on the couch."
[The Warners literally plant themselves]
Dr. Scratchansniff: "I said no more jokes!"
Yakko: "This isn't a joke, it's a visual gag."

Yakko
: "Don't worry, siblings. We'll sell that nice man a box of cookies, or die trying! Or try dying! Or do some tie-dying!"

Yakko: But we're not doing it for the sake of art, and we're not doing it for the sake of money. No! We'll do it because... we like painting naked people!

Mr. Plotz: "I need you to take a letter."
Wakko: "Okay, where do you want me to take it?"
Mr. Plotz: "No, I want you to write a letter."
Wakko: "Okay! Hmm...dear Santa: I have been ever so good this year! I want a new mallet and a shiny brass anvil."
Mr. Plotz: "No, no, write a letter for me, for me!"
Wakko: "But I don't know what you want for Christmas."

Stewardess: "Would you like anything?"
Slappy: "Perhaps a sedative."
Stewardess: "I don't get it."
Slappy: "Go away."

Brain: Now, Pinky, if by any chance you are captured during this mission, remember you are Gunther Heindriksen from Appenzell. You moved to Grindelwald to drive the cog train to Murren. Can you repeat that?
Pinky: Mmmm, no, Brain, don't think I can.

Yakko: "Citizens of Anvilania, I stand before you, because if I was behind you, you couldn't see me."

Miss Flamiel: Yakko, can you conjugate?
Yakko: Who, me? I've never even kissed a girl!
Miss Flamiel: No no no. It's easy. I'll conjugate with you.
Yakko: Goodnight, everybody!

Miss Flamiel: We'll move on to science. Dot, what can you tell me about the great scientists of the nineteenth century?
Dot: They're all dead.
Miss Flamiel: No no no!
Dot: All right. They're all living.
Miss Flamiel: No no no!
Yakko: Well, now we're getting into philosophy.

Rasputin: Slow down!
Yakko: Why? Everyone else is Russian around here!
A pun. Har Har....

(Yakko distracts Death by jumping on his shoulders and covering his eyes)
Yakko: Guess who.
Death: Uhh...Christian Glover (sp?)
Yakko: Nope.
Death: Kathy Lee Gifford?
Yakko: Naw, you're way off.
Death: That Urkel kid!
Yakko: HEY! YOU PEEKED!

Death: Feel free to move first. It really doesn't matter. I haven't lost at checkers since time began.
Yakko: When was that?
Death: I think it was a Tuesday. Very few people know that.

Dot: WE WANNA STAY TOGETHER!
Death: I'm a bonded carrier. I can't bring unauthorized personnel.
Yakko: Whyyy?
Death: Our insurance won't cover you in case of an accident.
Dot: Whyyy?
Death: Because, we can't afford the insurance premiums!
Yakko and Dot: Whyyy?
Death: (Irritated) It's not in the budget!
Yakko and Dot: (Smiling) Whyyy?

Dot: Are we dead?
Yakko: Or is this Ohio?

Yakko: "Come, siblings, to the war room! By the way, where is the war room?"
King Arthur: "Actually, we don't have a war room."
(Wakko pulls a war room door out of his bag)
Wakko: "You do now!"

Crowd: "The dragon! The dragon!"
Yakko: "Can someone stop these people from yelling 'dragon'?"
(anvil falls on crowd)
Yakko: "Thank you!"

One episode I remember was this musical Slappy cartoon with Daniel Boone... they kept changing the song to the same tune... "Daniel Boone was a great big jerk... yes a very big jerk... he came up with another plan that probably wouldn't work!"

 Loved it...

Oh God, this is one of my favorite television shows of all time. It's right up in my top 3.

I have 3 Animaniacs VHS tapes- Scary Stuff (THIS IS SUCH A MUST!!!), The Warners Escape, and Hellooooo Holidays. As I understand it, now these tapes are going for BUKU bucks! Same thing with the Tiny Toon tapes. I really wanted to buy Tiny Toons Night Goulery- but that thing's at least 30 bucks or something... I'm really pissed at Warner Bros. for not putting these shows out.

It was a rehash and a bow to a classic comedy skit, but my ultimate favorite was Slappy Squirrel at Woodstock.

The music was also fantastic and it actually got me through geography class. We had a test were we had a map of the USA and had to write the 50 states and their capitols. I memorized the 50 States song they had on the show, listened to the CD constantly to get the lyrics burned into my head. Once that was accomplished, the hard part was just remembering where all the states were. After I passed the test with flying colors, I handed my teacher the lyrics and she loved them. She made copies and passed them out to the rest of the school and now my daughter who is 6 and going into first grade has already started learning the song through school :)

See mom! It IS educational!!!

Rock on.

I've got both of those episodes on tape. :D

I wish that song had been around when I actually had to know the states and capitals in junior high! I did memorize it in high school though and it occasionally comes in handy even now.

Anyone see the episode of Freakazoid where Wakko has a cameo and begins to sing it? That was one of my favorite segments!

oh man, who could forget this show. better then tiny toons & I loved tiny toons!

Wakko was my fav of the Warners & his gookie was so cute!
Wheel of Morality Turn turn turn, tell us the lesson that we should learn...

My other favs were Rita & Runt (LOVED Bernadette Peters), The Goodfeathers, Chicken Boo, & Minerva Mink.

I think my fav toons were when Rita & Runt did Les Miserables, Squits introduction to the Goodfeathers, & when The Warners take over the "Howie Tern Radio show". Oh, I loved the "Special Friend"-hehe.

Hmm... this show is not yet on dvd now is it?

I used to collect the trading cards too. great show, still on Nicktoons tv on cable.

Classic...

Girth Plotz: [after Wakko eats his paperweight] Give me back my paperweight!
Wakko: Okay, but you'll have to wait a while.

Man: Do you know who I am?
Yakko: Why? Did you forget?

Miss Flamiel: Yakko, can you conjugate?
Yakko: Who? Me? I've never even kissed a girl!
Miss Flamiel: No, it's very simple. I'll conjugate with you.
Yakko: Good night, everybody!

Miss Flamiel: Wakko, what is the meaning of the word, "procrastination"?
Wakko: I'll tell you tomorrow.

Brain: Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Pinky?
Pinky: Um, I think so, Brainie, but why would anyone want to pierce Brosnan?

Dracula: I am Count Dracula!
Yakko Warner: Didn't you use to teach math on Sesame Street?

Miss Flamiel: We'll move on to science. Dot, what can you tell me about the great scientists of the nineteenth century?
Dot: They're all dead.
Miss Flamiel: No no no!
Dot: All right. They're all living.
Miss Flamiel: No no no!
Yakko Warner: Well, now we're getting into philosophy.

Dot: Nice decorating! Let me guess - Satan?

Yakko Warner: We protest you calling us "little kids". We prefer to be called "vertically-impaired pre-adults".

I remember this one episode where they invite the Girth Plotz and "Steven" to their party in the water tower. And Plotz was all excited to finally meet Steven. So the Animaniacs served them peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches and they had nothing to drink. Then Steven arrived but it wasn't Steven Speilberg who, Plotz had so much anticapated for. So he was very disappointed and left. It was a priceless episode.
I'm sure that's not exactly how it goes, it's been like 6-7 years since the last time I've seen the Animaniacs.

Oh my goodness so many memories of my childhood as I read this thread! I am now demanding ANimaniacs DVD sets!

I don't know why but I'll always remember a short about a piece of gold wrapping paper and how it was used to wrap a toy for a rich family (Mindy and Buttons) and then it got lost all over the city and a poor man used it and the poor little boy took care of it and kept it forever and ever.

I also remember a Pocahontas Parody and for some reason at Jamestown in Virginia there was the very first Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. I don't quite remember what the joke is, but I'm sure it should all make sense.

All the songs were memorable like the States and Capitals, countries, Yakko singing the dictionary with Dot and Wakko newsreporting at intervals throughout the show, the President's song!

Hi ho, do you know, the names of the US residents who then became the presidents and got a view of the White House loo on Pennsylvania Avenue?!? George Washington was the first you see, he once chopped down a cherry tree, President nubmer two would be John Adams and then number three, Tom Jefferson stayed up to write the Constitution late at night, he and his wife had a great big fight and she made him sleep on the couch all night! James Madison never had a son he won the war of 1812, James Monroe's collosal nose was bigger than Pinnochio's, John Quincy Adams was number six and its Andrew Jackson's butt he kicks so Jackson learns to play politics, next time he's the one that the country picks ...I can go on, but for the sake of the UD readers, I won't, lol.
