Movie Prices

Post by Nala »

When you guys go to a movie, how much do you pay? Up here on the west coast of Canada, it's $10.95 Canadian. The price I mentioned is with Famous Players.

At another theatre I saw online for the Vancouver area it's $5.99 Canadian every day except Tuesday when it's $3.99 Canadian.

I don't pay for movies. And not because I'm spoiled or whatever.
It's because I use free screener tickets we get or the free tickets that come in DVDs.

But I do remember passing by the mall here and every Tuesday from morning to night, any movie (whether new or old) is $4.00. Cool, huh? :)
But it's no AMC. :p

I get the student discount so before 6:00 pm it's $5.00, normal ticket cost $5.75. After 6, it's $6.00 for a student and $6.75. But I go to a variety of theaters and they have a variety of prices. I just told you about the ticket prices of my favorite theater.

In our big theatres that show new movies, it's $8.00 and for a matinee it's $6.00.
At the discount theatres that show the movies after they've been out for a couple of months we have some theatres that do $1.00 tuesdays and other days are $2.00.

Matinee: $6
Night (I think starting at 7): $8

The theater I always go to is United Artists Cinema at the Falls (an enormous mall here in South Florida).

Hi

I think around here it is about $6.50 for a Matinee and $8 + for regular showings. I don't go to the movies often though so I don't know exactly. I usually go to the local dollar theatre.

I try not to go to MOVIES anymore. I think it is so stupid!!! You spend like $10 for the movie, and like $5-6 on something to eat. Save the money wait a few months, and let it come on DVD (with lots of extra you don't see in the theaters)!!! That is how I have been doing it for awile now. The last movie I saw in the theaters was I think THE RING 2 (Stupid movie by the way).
