I don't mean to sound cruel (I made the same mistake when I was new here), but the moderators and/or Luke are probably not going to be too happy about this.

A new member who can express himself in an educated manner, and doesn't think that Disney animation began with <i>The Little Mermaid</i>? I don't think any of the moderators or myself are too unhappy with that actually!

Welcome to the forum, FallOutFallIn! I'd love to hear more of your insight on Disney films in other threads and I'm sure you'll have plenty to unique contributions to make. I must say that while this may not have been the most current list to post your favorites in, the Top 16 list is quite doing it for me. Inclusion of <i>Ichabod</i> - , exclusion of <i>Beauty and the Beast</i> - another mild (the movie's good, just highly overrated around these parts, methinks).

Anyway, once again, welcome! Hope you find this forum satisfactory and I look forward to your future posts, which I'm sure will add value and a much-needed 'alternative' perspective to our discussions.

These are the only ones that I've seen recently enough to have a valid opinion of. Maybe I should state beforehand that I have an irrational resentment towards any of them made between the mid-1990s and today, and that I'm especially fond of the ones made prior to Walt Disney's death.

Don't worry, it's not all <i>that</i> irrational.
