January 2004 Price Drops

Post by Luke »

No new prices are given, but I'd bet that those which are currently $14.99 SRP will drop to $9.99 SRP, those which are $29.99 SRP to $19.99 SRP, and those which are $19.99 SRP to $14.99 SRP.

Anyhow, here's the list:

• Blank Check

• Tuck Everlasting

• Asunder

• Big Business

• Birthday Girl

• Bounty Hunters 2: Hardball

• Children Of Heaven

• Cocktail

• Comedian

• Cop Land

• Double Take

• Everyone Says I Love You

• Final Encounter

• Frank McKlusky, C.I.

• Frida

• Full Frontal

• Hav Plenty

• Heavenly Creatures

• Importance Of Being Earnest, The

• In The Bedroom

• Low Down Dirty Shame, A

• No Code Of Conduct

• Osbournes: The First Season (censored), The

• Osbournes: The First Season (uncensored), The

• Other Side Of Heaven, The

• Star Maker, The

• Sweet Home Alabama

• Switchblade Sisters

• Up Close & Personal

• Waking Up In Reno

• Yards, The

Assuming that Cop Land is dropping to $9.99 SRP, that's probably one to pick up for real cheap.

Blank Check is still P & S...so it's certainly no "Blank Cheque" (UK Widescreen).

I loved "The Other Side of Heaven"! It's an awesome movie. The only thing that sucked was that they made it sound like Anne Hathaway had a huge part (she was on the cover and everything) and she was only in like 20 minutes of the movie. She didn't even go to the Tonga, and they had her on this boat on the cover. That was stupid.

I;d have to agree with you Prince Adam. She had a very SMALL part in the movie and I was expecting more since she was on the cover and everything. However, I enjoyed the movie a lot and glad I purchased it!

Might be interested in blind buying Other Side of Heaven if I've got the money, but for most of January I'll be saving up for the three animated classic SEs at the end of the month. I've already got Tuck Everlasting and hold no ill will that I'dve been able to find it cheaper if I waited -- it's a wonderful movie that's given me plenty of value in the months that I've had it.

I LOVED the Other Side of Heaven...I too thought Anne would have a bigger part *which was one of the only reasons I rented it* but gosh it was GREAT! I hope to buy it on Wednesday when I go into town! :) We will be showing it at church I think for a youth gathering! :)

Other side of heaven is a very good movie and as a former missionary myself i identified with many of the emotions and feelings.

Nice to see a movie with adventure without explosions and fun, romance without nudity and certainly a family movie without the older crowd falling asleep during a "musical" number.
