That collection looks very nice and I'm sure Andy will be happy to see a collection from the UK!

Well for the past few months I've been in fear for my life! Everytime I turn round it seems like *Andy* has been lurking ready to jump out shouting "Do you have any pictures yet?" So before he's goes crazy and kills me I thought I'd better get out the digital camera!
Here we goes.

( I can visualise DisneyFan2000
ing at that last photo!

Maybe *Andy* will leave me alone now!

Well, everybody has different tastes. Some think that slipcovers look nice on their DVDs, other people don't and take them off to put in a box (which is what I believe Ichabod does as he wrote in another thread). Personally, I think that they look nice but aren't really necessary, so if there wasn't one available, I could live.Alan wrote:I think it would be nicer if more had them.ichabod wrote: Your point being......?
Anyway, great collection is what Ichabod has!

Actually after looking not one of those DVDs in the pictures has a slipcover at all!Alan wrote:To Ichabod: Only a small portion of your collection has slipcovers![]()
Yep, the treasure tins and slipcovers are all in those drawers you can see, but shoved at the back, you can see couple of them slighty sticking out like Bambi and Finding Nemo inside the Hunchback/Hunchback 2 box and the Mulan/Mulan 2 box is just jutting out a bit too. I think they get in the way, I mean I can be arsed peeling off the layers, espescially the treasures I mean you would have to take off the band, then open the tin then take out the DVD case, then open the case to get the dvd, then put it all back, spend about 5 minutes fannying about trying to get the tin to close properly because the metal is too bendy, and when three of the corners are closed one is not, and when you shut that corner another one pops open, then shove the band back round trying to rip it. Whereas when I could have already been 5 minutes into watching Donald Duck being traumatised by Nazis!Wonderlicious wrote:Some think that slipcovers look nice on their DVDs, other people don't and take them off to put in a box (which is what I believe Ichabod does as he wrote in another thread).
Plus the cardboard ones would just get worn down.

They are Disneystore plushes, but I got them off ebay.Mr. Toad wrote:Ichabod - where did you get the Three Caballeros plush's? I want, I want.
I actually just switched them before I took the picture. They've been in the big box of beanies for a few months, I had Steamboat Mickey, Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow and Humphrey the Bear Squeezed in there.
I make it a point to rotate every now and then so they feel wanted!
Toy Story taught me a valuable lesson!

You really are obsessed with slipcovers, aren't you. Like others have said, it's only cardboard. They're nice to have but not a necessity. A lot of DVDs don't have a slipcover. Most of my DVDs don't have slipcovers. You're missing out on a lot of good movies if you only buy movies with a slipcover.Alan wrote:To Ichabod: Only a small portion of your collection has slipcovers
