You probably mean the white slipcover, because the case itself is the same as the US (so I've heard). My favourite is Disney's UK Platinum Edition of Beauty and the Beast. Absoloutely stunning!ichabod wrote:Pocahontas SE (France) It's lurvverly!

Up for the task?ichabod wrote:Ok since we're having the same arguement about farting pigs in 2 different threads, I propose we leave this alone and continue in the other one, or Luke's wrath will be mighty!DisneyFan 2000 wrote:What are they going to do? I'm sure this has been asked elsewhere.. Anyone know why Disney alternates it's covers for each region? And why is it that the U.S. seems the have the dullest looking covers.. No vibrant glow.. Standard flat colors..

Obviously it depends who the consumers are for each area. I suppose in a country where most buyers are collectors, they'll recieve a fancy and classy cover, where as in another country where the main buyers are families, they'll recieve a more vibrant and colourful cover!Lightyear wrote:I'm sure this has been asked elsewhere.. orestes.
Ichabod reminded me of two other covers I really, really like,
The R1 covers of Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. Both are very classy.
I love what they have done with the Treasures line as well. The graphic designer on those should do all of their animated movie covers. If they are the same person/team then I would have to ask, "what happened?!"
Oh and lastly, the Dinosaur CE is a pretty nice cover with the close-up of the eye.

Best Disney DVD cover art?
My favorite Disney DVD cover art?
The Lizzie McGuire Movie (not the Region 1 one; the DVD versions in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America), definately! You have to see that cover to believe it!
I've seen it while surfing around foreign DVD online stores and foreign Disney websites, and you can too! Just go to the sites mentioned above (like a Disney site in a different country, or stores like Amazon.co.uk, etc.).
BTW, in addition to those sites, I've actually seen the cover of that DVD for real - I was at a DVD store at London Gatwick airport
while waiting for my flight back to Dallas. (Living near such a big airport, at least I'm not too far away from seeing that cover in-store! [Mexico would have to be the closest])
