Any rumors about a Special Edition of the muppet christmas

Hi..

I want my favourite christmas movie in the original format. The available foolscreen DVD is terrible. Any news about a SE maybe for christmas this year?

They already put out effort for the Foolscreen release, and I don't expect them to add anything extra to it. They're so damn stupid for putting effort into the release, and then cutting up the film itself.

This may not really help, btu there is a Muppet Xmas Carol coming out here in November (with a bunch of other Xmas movies!).

I'm not sure if this is the first time it has been released, so maybe it will be a different version...keep y'all posted (over in international of course).

You're absolutely right... That's really weird... A nice commentary track, a good making of, cool menu design and a good DD 5.1 Audio Track an then the movie itself is in Foolscreen

Not only that the DVD features the Pan-and-scan Version of the film, the picture quality itself is VERY bad too.

My old widescreen video is better
