No. They do have something in common. Both are in the Entertainment industry. Zomba records (or whoever) wouldn't let you become a singer with a name the same as, or similar to Justin Timberlake. The Screen Actor's Guild wouldn't let you become an actor with a name the same as or similar to Justin Timberlake either.
Well my first name is Justin by my last name isn't Timberlake. So if I joined an entertainment buissness there is no way he could sue me. That would be like Johnny Cash suing John Ritter for having the same name as him, John!

And your point is? It's like comparing apples to oranges. If your name was similar to Timberlake's you wouldn't be allowed to use it.

Joan Collins even shut down an act called "The Joan Collins Fan Club" which quite clearly wasn't Joan Collins, and quite clearly wasn't her Fan Club (it was a single comedian). Was Joan Collins wrong to sue?
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

Hmm speaking of trademark infringement take a look at the avatar. Looks vaguely familiar. Trying to place him. Well at least he is selling rum, good for something.

I've heard of people changing their names to Luke Skywalker. Even naming their baby that.

I know a man named Fred Flintstone, and yes, his parents gave him the name Fred. That are so sweet ;)

And I had a high school friend named Holly Wood. She was a buxom blonde, smart and tough too though :P

I ALMOST named by daughter Harley Quinn. I love that character, but then I kind remembered that SMALL detail about Harley Quinn was a shrink who went nuts and fell in love with the Joker and let the Joker abuse her because she loved him...So alas, she didn't get named Harley :P

So what did you name her?

I named my daughter Daytona because my wife went into labour during the Daytona 500 and I had to watch the end at like midnight on tape.

Got some real cool pictues when we went to Florida though at the speedway.

I named her Alexia. After an online friend's RP character. And that same online friend had helped me through several dark periods in my life. Hope is her middle name, because that's what she gave me. :)

Actually the name I came closest to right after Alexia was "Angel". My father is named Angel and Angel is a long running tradition for the boys to be named Angel and forms of Angel in Spanish. But I had a stupid fear that I would name her Angel and she'd end up being a hellion, LOL. Believe me, I've seen it with pets. At the grooming shop, every Snuggles, Cuddles, Angel, Sweetie, etc either tried to bite, scratch or kill you. And then the others just peed and pooed all over you.
She's 6 years old and let me tell you, Angel would have suited her just fine ;)

but alex´s female spanish form is alejandra.
Angel´s female form is Angela.

I don´t know how I´l call my children when I get marry, but I think that if it is a male would be Daniel or if it is a girl Denisse

or, since my last name is Haro, perhaps I should call him Ching...

Isidour, I know that. Alexia is actually a form of Alexandra. And Alexandra is the female form of Alexander. And Alexander means, "protector of mankind". So in essence, an angel.

And I planned to keep the same for of "Angel" and not turn it to "Angela".

Daniel means "Judge"
Denise is "Noble"

Yeah, so one time there was this lady that had some complications during her pregnancy, and she was unconcious for several weeks after giving birth.

Her sister was there throughout all of it and took it upon herself to name the twins that were born.

When the mother awoke, she was given the news she had a boy and a girl, and was also informed that her sister had named them.

Knowing that her sister wasn't the brightest lady around, she quickly asked, "Well, what's the name of my daughter?"

"Denise."

"Well, I like that, it's nice. So what's my son's name?"

"Denephew."

* * *

Sorry, that kinda popped in my head after reading the last few posts!

Anyway, I happen to know two people named Charlie Brown, one that was born before the birth of Peanuts, and one that is around 25 years old.

David is a Hebrew name and it means "beloved one"

My real name is Crystal. It is Latin for "bright, clear, and ice"
So apparently I am a smart, transparent, and cold ;)

Well, here's the meaning of my name. . .

Karen- the Danish form of Katherine, which means purity and tortured one.

Leah- Swahili for gazelle

So. . . I'm the X of pure and tortured gazelles?

Well my full name meaning is...

Crystal-Latin-clear,bright,ice

Holly-plant with red berries

Rodriguez-Latin-an island (I think)

So I am a smart, transparent berry plant on an island. Not as fun as your's SG ;)

Actually, that sounds like the description of some icy, mythical Christmas plant on the North Pole! :D

Well, maybe the North Pole isn't actually considered an island, but still. . .

Yeah, I think you're right. But I still like to carry the image of Mrs. Clause tending to a garden of pretty little crystal plants.
