How do you put a picture in your signature?

Post by Joshrzmeup »

I'm trying to put a picture into my siggy, but I don't know how, and am not very good with 'computer terms'. Could someone please explain to me in simple terms how to do it?
Thanks!

Same way you would do it on the forum, with the following code:

Code: Select all

[img]http://yourpictureaddress.com/goeshere.jpg[/img]
Signature images must be no greater in height than 100 pixels and no greater in width than 500 pixels, though.

You have to preform many tests and trials to have the slimmest chance of ever being allowed to grace your posts with a picture signature.

It involves, mud, worms, raw fish, listening to hours of Barney, and wearing a chicken suit in August.

I'm sorry. It is the only way.... ;)

In a SILLY mood...

Anyways, it's the same way you put an image into a post. See those little buttons, like the one with Img? You need to have IMG between two brackets without the spaces. And then you enter the URL of your picture next to it, then end it off with [/ I M G], without the spaces.
It will look something like this...
http://www.yourpichere.com[/ I M G]....with NO spaces

Oy, I thought that's what I had to do for my avatar; the rest of my face and four inches of my arm haven't grown back yet. :headshake:
Thanks for the info, I didn't know about that either.

Ok, but does the picture have to be on a seperate page with nothing else on it? Cause the picture I want to use isn't.

Yes. Use the URL of the PICTURE, not of a web page the picture is part of.

I had to wear a Kodak Colorkin costume one August week. Lost eight pounds. So am I in?

Was the costume soaked in the juices of raw fish for a week?

Since all the dogs kept attacking me and the kids kept running from me I would have to say yes.
