Favorite Disney/Disney Branches Films?

Post by Disneykid »

Disney has many branches under its belt. You've got Walt Disney Pictures (for families), Touchstone Pictures (for mainstream adults), Miramax Films (for Oscar buzz), Dimension Films (for thriller fans), and Hollywood Pictures (for...everything else, though it doesn't seem the exist anymore). What's your favorite film from each? For help in finding out which films each branch produced and distributed, check out the links below:

Walt Disney Pictures
Touchstone Pictures
Miramax Films
Dimension Films
Hollywood Pictures

Here are my favorites. Since Disney has such an enormous library, I divided it into animation and live-action.

Disney (animation):
Alice in Wonderland
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Beauty and the Beast
Aladdin

Disney (live-action):
The Parent Trap (1998)
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Mary Poppins
Pollyanna

Pixar:
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Monsters, Inc.

Touchstone:
The Other Sister
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Father of the Bride
Father of the Bride Part II
Signs

Miramax:
Chicago
Ella Enchanted (why on earth this wasn't a Disney film, I'll never know)
Finding Neverland
Kill Bill (Volumes I and II)
Pulp Fiction

Dimension:
Scream
The Others
Scream 2
Scream 3

Hollywood:
The Sixth Sense
Jack
The Rock
