I have seen this message at LEAST 75 times in the forum today (that is no exaggeration)!
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings. etc....
(You've all seen this page on the Internet before, so I won't put the whole thing.)
Really, I click on a new link and I get this at least 4 times before it lets me see a thread, or reply to a thread, or anything else I want to do. I am getting really annoyed at this, I don't know why this is happening.
Proxy Error
The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.
The proxy server could not handle the request GET /forum/posting.php.
Reason: Could not connect to remote machine: Connection refused
Me too. But if anything, it's a GOOD sign meaning that my host is tinkering with things so that we DON'T get problems with pages not loading as we have been intermittently in the past.
I sent them an e-mail about that problem, and even if it's been worse today, it's almost certainly temporary as they take care of it.
Still, I share your frustration. (Which is why I wanted the problems we were having prior today to go away!)
