That behavior is just not welcome, and the IPs of the boss/boss clones (which any moderator can attest were the same) have been banned. Reinstatement isn't out of the question but it's certainly not happening while this game is going on.

Once again, Polls & Games are supposed to be fun. They're not supposed to boost post counts, waste bandwidth, or create hostility. Maybe the last part is inevitable with the alliances that have marked each survivor game. But please remember, that these are supposed to be fun and that that only happens if they're treated as such.

What better way to rig a game than to ban a user with the opinions that are not desirable for the goals of the people that have the power to ban?(Death by bunga bunga for the offender.)

For a mod to remove a player from the game at any stage is very lame indeed.

Did you ever think about starting with a list of players for the given game and not accepting new players once the game is in play? This would elliminate a new player entering during that game and also elliminate you making accusations that you can't back up with fact.

Compare all the IP's you wish, but these day's most people are using a service provider that realeses and re-news your IP every single time your pc is powered up.
So how in the world is it that you can say for certain that any two users are the same person?
Same provider maybe, but not the same pc.
You obviously have some special powers I guess.




I usualy come to this forum as a "Read only" visitor and spend a fair amount of time sifting through posts here, but I can tell you that this thread gave my the urge to sign up and give my 2 cents.

I'm not going to vote because I realy don't care which cartoon is more desirable to one nerd or the other, I just wanted to point out the obvious unballance that's taking place in this so called game.

Well yes, I would suspect that you are boss signed up again, but this time the IP doesn't match boss's others, only the content of the post does. In any event, in case you haven't noticed, I haven't really been actively playing this game and I am the only one with the power of banning users. So there's no rigging going on. There's no anti-anime edict that's determining what happens on the forum. Common courtesy and one screen name per user have always been requirements for posting on this forum.

But I guess you follow along a Survivor game for 33 rounds and then something you want to lose doesn't, and suddenly those regulations go out the window. I'm sure you don't know anything about that, though, since you just are posting for the first time and have only been lurking up until now when you've decided to break on through with an uplifting diatribe about the nerds who have been participating in this game that you have so oddly been monitoring.

In the future, if you have off-topic rants, please keep them to Feedback where they belong. And please, get over it. It's a game.

Maybe some reaserch would be in order for you to reallise that your log's do not give you the 100% damning evidence you claim as fact?

Admit that your system of identifing users is not the exact science that you claim and face the fact that at best you'd be able to ID a service provider in a certain reigon and not an individual user.

In which case stating that you know that myself and others are actualy Boss is as false as you can get.

Assume what you will, fact remains that you selling your suspicions as facts and backing it up by saying "Ask the other mod's they seen it too." is like selling snake oil.

Now saying that you have a feeling that one person has multiple user names is reasonable, but without bellivable facts is a worthless accusation.

Try this,

You and another member(Who has a roaming IP) get on the site at the same time. You allow his/hers user to function on the board, but IP ban him/her.
Will they stay banned? OR Will they return after the next realese/renew?

If your answer is that they will return with a new IP your right and therfore wrong when you state that you have the proof of someone's multiple personality.

And just FYI, I'm not Boss and if you done even the smallest amount of research you'd know this. (Wrong guess, but thanks for playing.)

Making this post is probably a waste of time here, some people here are jerks. This guy played your game and beat you at it. For this he gets the boot. Personaly I thought his posts were funny as hell. The mod here seems one sided and the way I see it, screwed him over.

Acer - recruiting a bunch of friends and relatives to get your own way is not part of the game. Yes my wife and I both play, but it is with totally different agendas. Raydawggie, Eric and Castle can both vouch that the movies we were going for had nothing in common except for perhaps the departed Joseph.

I also agree with you that some of his posts were humerous and celebrating the vanquishing of Pocohantas was OK. But attacking other board members is not part of this board. His acqusations were way off base. Luke funds this place out of his own pocket and he gets to run it as he sees fit. This place compared to most internet formus is a relatively calm and friendly place. I think most of us would like to keep it this way. We do not need flame wars. Ichabod had a tough decision to make and he made it. I would not have made the same decision, but it is his game to run.

There was also a fix of a prior game by several users from the same household. We did not need that again.

If you are a real new user welcome. If you are a friend or relative of boss's also welcome. I imagine he will be back after a time out. I certainly enjoyed a lot of his posts. He lost track of the fact this was just a game. I am also guilty of that, but I never turned it personal. That is the difference.

Ummm as a Canadian I feel very welcome here as does my wife. I think Orestes, Nala and others feel the same way.

Luke is no censor. I believe that out of the 2,000 users that have signed up only three have had to been banned for life. Suspensions have also been very rare. But when repeated personal insults happen measures have to be taken for the sanity of all of the users on the site. I suggest if you want to comment further the feedback forum is more appropriate.

Man I really don't like you guys, I work with boss, he asked me if I wanted to play this game, I said yes, now I regret it. I did not see rules saying his freinds could not play, you have no freinds here right, I have less relations than all of you with you sisters, bothers, wifes and what ever playing this stupid game. Fair enough. I guess from your point of view, making up additional usernames to have your favorites win at Survivor, getting called out on it, and then making still more usernames to complain is 'right.' And can you tell boss's other friend not to bother signing up?
