Chicago 3-Disc Collector's Edition Fact Sheet

Post by Disneykid »

All I have to say is: it's about freaking time! This is an awesome year for Best Picture Oscar winners: Gladiator, Chicago, Ben-Hur, and Titanic all in glorious multi-disc sets. Not to mention the fact that other classics like Cinderella and The Wizard of Oz are getting great DVD treatment around the same time, as well. 2005 is looking to be the best year for DVD's, yet. :D

I really enjoyed the movie so I'll consider buying it... I'm not too big of an extra person though so I might just get the 1 disc cheap.

I like Chicago but it's my Mom who's the BIG fan so I'll only get it if she wants to get it.

As PublicEnemy#1 said, Ben-Hur's coming September 13th, and The Wizard of Oz is coming in October, though no date as been attached, yet (October 18th has been tossed around, though).

Sorry about causing all of the confusion in the other two threads, Aaron. I'll know, now, to avoid making new threads whenever I see a new press release from Miramax since you'll be working on posting them, yourself.

No worries at all, Kelvin. Don't hesitate to post this news, because I don't post them for all non-Disney Buena Vista DVDs, just ones that I think will have general interest for the site. For example, there's one out today for Don't Be A Menace that I'm probably not going to post.

Anyways, I'm pretty excited for this. I still haven't seen Chicago, but I really want to. I have heard parts of the soundtrack and would like it too. So me wanting to see the movie + wanting the soundtrack = enough reason to pick this one up. Glad to see BVHE doing this.

Sorry, I don't have a press release for Ben-Hur. (I've never seen it either... big shocker, I know... I will someday... but now back to Chicago!)

I've tried to merge everything neatly. Even though it looks like Aaron posted this two weeks ago and no one noticed today, it will have to do. :)

I know a certain fan of the color pink who is happy about this news. Personally, I think it's one of the weaker Best Picture winners I've seen, but what do I know?
