I was just looking at my Suncoast today when one of the clerks asked me if I needed help looking for anything, I said no, I was just going to browse the Disney section, in which she said that someone earlier that day has sold them a bunch of used Disney DVDs (my suncoast has used DVDs), and sure enough Snow White was one of them so I finally have a copy of the PE and I got it for only $17.

Once you open it up and play it, it is used. So if it is like new and you
can save all that money what's the big deal. Try finding Snow White for that price.

Who cares though? You aren't going to find a Brand New-Factory Sealed Snow White anywhere because it has been OOP for 3 years! The only place you can find new copies is on eBay and they sell for sometimes $50. Plus I read in another thread you don't like to spend over $10 on a DVD. Guess you won't be getting this DVD then. Bummer.

Um, my birthday is coming up June 12, I'll just ask my mom to buy the new platinum snow white for my birthday. so I WILL be getting this DVD then. Yay

Well, like Lightyear, I hope your mom gets a good deal on a new, sealed Snow White PE.
My mum and dad were recently clearing out some of their DVD's. Amongst the 'to go' box I noticed Snow White on DVD - only watched once, absolutely pristine. They asked me to put some of their things on Amazon Marketplace so I listed it for £29.00 and it was sold in a few hours, unsurprisingly. I hadn't realised it was so sought after. They told me that they had been thinking of getting rid of it at a car boot sale for just £6 - so I'm glad I got in there first

Good job! Suncoast's really aren't popular here, as a matter of fact, there really aren't many video stores that buy DVDs, and then turn around and sell them to the general public. Great find, though! I wasn't "in" to collecting DVDs at the time, so I missed that one. For reason uknown, I also didn't pick up Sleeping Beauty when I had the chance. For reason even more unknown, I still do not have the Mulan Special Edition.

I hate to buy used DVDs myself, but in my experience of buying used DVDs, I've gotten two out of three that were EVERY bit as good as brand new. And both for prices exactly in my range. Normally, these discs would have just been far too expensive for what the buyer gets. Buying used is also a good form of rebellion against the studios who produce many bad quality discs.
Hey!!
Just got done checking it, it works just fine, no problems with the discs or the playback. Its hard to believe that this was the first time I had seen Snow White since I saw it with my family back in 1993.
I just found Snow White today at FYI...a used copy for $36. I figured I've been searching for this dvd for a while now and I didn't think I'd find it again so I went and got it. Tough there isn't an insert included. But thats ok. I'm just glad I got the movie.
Well I'm glad you got the movie! My brother gave me his copy after he found out I wanted to start a Disney collection last year. I felt that way when I found Beauty and the Beast for $16 like new condition too.
