I got Sleeping Beauty! (finally!)

Post by Mermaid Kelly »

:) I finally bought the movie since my parents gave me a little money to go shopping this weekend! :) Now that I've finally seen it, I think it's really good! I liked the bonus features that show the making and publicity, but I did NOT like the music video! That was horrible! The Princess Personallity game was fun! I am most like Ariel! As far as the movie itself goes, it is a pretty good story. The animation/music is a little old fashoned like Snow White, but that's ok. I like the song "Once Upon A Dream! :) Thank's to all the people on this forum who recommended Sleeping Beauty to me! Also on a side note, I can't wait till Lion King comes out! Only a few more weeks to wait! :)

that's why if it's just one movie i'm after, i never do the pre-order thing. i need instant gratification!! i can't stand being the last one to get something!

i really enjoyed the double disc Sleeping Beauty. aside from the movie, i liked "grand canyon." it's always amazing how nature and music can mesh together so well. and i too like all the historical features, such as the making of, etc.

have not watched the music video. it sounds like it would give me nightmares!

i just got my Sleeping Beauty DVD yesterday. It was really good. The Princess Personality Profile game was fun. I'm most like Snow White. I did not like the music video either. I hate it when teenage groups take classic disney songs and turn them into their own modern times music. I'm really agains't that.

:) :) :)

I pre-ordered it at the Disney store for 19.99 plus tax. So I got the one lithograph! I wish there were more lithographs though! :( ahhh, oh well! at least there was one! :)

I enjoyed the Music Video and the song. I like that rendition of the song! It is different and funky! :)

I payed 19.99 plus tax also, but that would include 4 dollars for the litho, if i got the dvd for 17.99. To me the litho is worth more than 4 dollars... FYI i just paid 12 dollars (incl. s/h) for the lion king litho set off ebay b/c disney doesn't offer the lithos with the deluxe edition as of now.... But i was planning on getting the deluxe set from amazon or deepdiscountdvd anyway since i don't want to pay the high price that disney wants for it, not to mention taxes and s/h....

That is the toughest thing about ordering online.
I know when the Treasures ship I'll be in agony on that Tuesday when everyone else has theirs and I'm awaiting the Amazon Super Saver Shipping.

Of all the Disney movies, The Black Cauldron was the only one I had never seen. Now I've seen it, and I loved it!!!
