I have seen Mulan new online for fourteen fifty after shipping costs, yet, there is no way to know the condition of the slipcover. Even if the seller is asked, who know what it may look like by the time reaches you.

If you get a crappy slipcover or none at all you could always call for one. I would put the number down but it's been posted many times before and all the new Disney discs have it anyways. :)

i don't think i've ever talked to anyone who said they hated mulan, and i always found it enjoyable so i say buy it! especially if it has the slip cover! i just find the slip covers fun bc i tape them to my wall and they look neat all lined up next to each other.

Get while you can! I messed up by not getting it when it was on sale at Target for $12.88 last November. Speaking of which, I finally bought Pocahontas on sale for $15.99 at Best Buy!

I don't know how hard-pressed you are for money, but I say get Aladdin ASAP. It beats Mulan both film-wise and DVD-wise, and it's only available for a limited time. Also, like I said earlier, you seem to want a fairly comprehensive Disney DVD collection. The best way to accomplish this is to collect all of the Platinums and other 2-Disc sets. Once you do that, you'll have the most major films in the Disney canon.

The Aladdin PE is worth owning..more than Mulan. :)
And I'm not just saying that because it's a favorite.
I have got to stop buying Disney DVDs!!!!!
Now that's blasphemy! ;)
Stick with 2-discs and bonus features...far more better than 1 (if you're pressed for money.) Hopefully, Disney will do the 2-Disc releases for their movies soon!

Aladdin is probably the best DVD Disney has ever released, IMO. Definetly go for it, no matter how low on money you are (unless, of course, you don't have enough to buy the movie). Plus the restoration is amazing. GET IT!

Congratualtions! Sounds like you snagged an awesome deal with that Mulan. Make sure you tell us how you like it!

Wow that's incredible. Let me know what recent two disc editions of Disney DVD's you've gotten for under $10 and where you got them- I gotta start shopping where you shop because that's incredible!!

Thanks guys for pushing me to buy it. I'm working all week and then moving this weekend so I don't know if I'll get a chance to watch it soon(unless I can convince the bf to watch it with me on friday night! )

I know Aladdin is a great movie/DVD to buy- it's one of my favorites. Target had about 7 of them yesterday with perfect slipcovers so I figured I'd wait a bit until I get my next paycheck from work. I'll DEFINITELY be getting it- I've just been spending too much money lately!! :o

That´s what I said around last October once I bought Sleeping Beauty and Aladdin and added them to my 4 titles of a Disney collection. The sad thing is, I now have almost 7 times that many Disney DVDs. rotfl

Heh, same here! I bought Aladdin for sentimental reasons... The came January and the announcement that The Lion King is going back to the vaults. Well duh, I had to buy it, so I also bought Mulan with it...

I just couldn't stop, and now I'm living in a DVD wishlist!!

Which DVD should I buy?

Post by Nala »

One of my local stores has some Disney DVDs on sale for 14.99 for Disneyland's 50th anniversary and I'd like to buy one of them. There's 6 of them but I have 2 of them already.

Which one should I buy?

Mulan Special Edition
Inspector Gadget 2
Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl
The Three Muskateers

They'll be $8.99 at Best Buy this week, so you can get two! I'd go with Pirates and Mulan.

Mulan!

Of course, I'm extremely partial to animation, and the decision is up to you, but, yes, I'd go with Mulan.

I live in Canada and their site doesn't mention it being on sale.

Wait until after midnight. If for some reason they're not on sale at Canadian Best Buys, you can always buy from BestBuy.com too.

Pirates of the Carribean!: It's such a fun movie! Especially the great performances from Johnny Deep and Geoffrey Rush and the incredible music and special effects! In fact it's probably the best adventure movie since the Indiana Jones trilogy.

Mulan is a good movie, but not one of my favorites.

Inspector Gadget 2 is a really dumb movie! I think it would be a waste of money.

Haven't seen the Three Muskateers!
