So what do you guys think? A 2 Disc Special Edition will be great for this movie?
Special Edition Of Pete's Dragon?

I think you shouldn't use an exclamation in a thread title unless you've got news on it actually coming.Matt wrote:So what do you guys think?

Inigo: I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?
Westley: Do you always begin conversations this way?
Inigo: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.

I think Disney have a lot of other films more worthy of a 2 disc edition than Pete's Dragon.
I could shout from the rooftops "No, No, No. In the name of humanity don't release a 2 disc Pete's Dragon" but I understand lots of people do like it, and as I've said "Every film is somebody's favourite" so instead I'll just whisper it quietly to myself.

Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
Well this was in the Gold Classic Collection so it is obviously worth better value than how you are making it to be. I am sure the Gold Classic Collection wave will all get a 2 - Disc set! It is almost time to bring the Classics back with better features! Plus this Edition had more Special Features than most of the Gold Classic Collection Movies! Pete's Dragon is a Classic in my heart and will beat Mary Poppins any day!2099net wrote:I think Disney have a lot of other films more worthy of a 2 disc edition than Pete's Dragon.

Just remember that the Gold Classics also contain such wonderworks as Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World.
I like Pete's Dragon, but I don't love it. Still, like 2099 (reluctantly) said, every Disney movie has its share of fans and deserves a 2-disc SE. I think it's quite possible for Pete's Dragon to go SE; I just don't think it's going to happen too soon, though. Besides, I want a Bedknobs and Broomsticks 2-disc first, but that's just me.
