Sleeping Beauty or Treasure Planet?
I'm thinking of picking up a new DVD (after getting my sister her stupid CD player for her birthday, which leaves me...pretty broke), but I'm not sure whether I should go for Sleeping Beauty (being that I'll have barely $20, maybe $21--after the CD player--for it at my local Pavilions and that it's going to be LTO) or Treasure Planet (Fry's Electronics for lowest price).
Which would be a better deal for a high-schooler-about-to-go-broke-after-the-CD-player-purchase?

I'd say the better deal would be Sleeping Beauty in this case. Reason being that it has alot more special features than Treasure Planet and therefore will last you longer.
I love Treasure Planet, it's one of my favorite Disney movies, but like I said Sleeping Beauty would last you longer because it has more special features.
I'm guessing Sleeping Beauty is the better movie too. I wouldn't know though since I've never seen the movie.
Though hopefully that'll change soon.

Plus Sleeping beauty is going out of print in January (Feb?) I believe, along with a few other discs.
Maybe best to snap that up first. It looks like a great set actually.
I hope that your little mouse is right, disneyfella (not that I am one to doubt
). At any rate, your secret is safe with me...

I love both films but the Sleeping Beauty DVD is more fun and interesting than the Treasure Planet disc.

Don't get me wrong here, I love both of these, but like everybody else I've got to say Sleeping Beauty - easily. This is one of the true classics, it looks better than ever, and it has a really spiffy new DVD with some great extras. Treasure Planet is all that, too, but Sleeping Beauty is the winner. It's the one with two jam packed discs full of excess making of material; it's the one that's on sale right now; and it's the one that is only going to be available a few months longer.
Pick up Sleeping Beauty now and wit until Black Friday for Treasure Planet - nearly every major DVD you could want will be dirt cheap that weekend. (I can't wait.)
