If your uncertain, rent it first before you purchase blindly.

Me, I liked it.. But don't base your purchase on my opinion.

It was actually a blind buy for me and I really like it. If you like movies about superheroes, you'll like it.

The same thing happened to me. I bought Chicago as a blind buy and I HATED IT!!! A REALLY HORRIBLE MOVIE. I wish I hadn't bought it. But there's never been a Pixar/Disney film I never liked?

I hope Luke doesn't lock this thread since he has done that with many "The Incredibles" threads.

In my opinion this is Pixar's best movie. It's simular to Star Wars or Raiders of the Lost Ark in which the movie has everything! Comedy, action, romance, drama what more could you be looking for. It was a huge improvement over Pixar's overrated Finding Nemo.

It was a blind buy for me at Hollywood video (about 8 bucks with their buy three previously viewed for $25). I am more interested in collecting the classic disney films (aka not pixar) but still wanted it to have it as part of my collection. Hollywood Video also guarantees all previously viewed videos for a year so you can take it back even if you were the one who messed it up! It was good- I don't think I'd watch it many times since it is so long, but it was worth the $8.

I would have been disappointed had I paid more.

In a word yes, all six Pixar efforts are.

I love Boundin. That reminds me when Luke hinted that we might want to stop the game, my 20 questions answer was the Jackalope.

Personally, I am one of the few that was pretty underwhelmed by the Incredibles!

I went to see it in the theatres and I didn't come away feeling any better for doing so. I don't think it is a bad film, but pretty "blah". The story is OK, but I don't know I just thought it was run of the mill superhero movie. "Bad guy threatens planet, superheroes save the day" type of embargo. I am not the kind of person who is a supporter of Michael Eisner, but unfortunately I agree with his statement about the animation (even if it was purely out of spite) of the humans. I just find them plasticy and unrealistic, and well quite frankly it annoys me to look at them.

What really annoys me is that, I really want to like thisn movie! Even though i flet really let down by the film when I saw it theatrically, I still bought the DVD because I felt it deserved a second chance, and maybe a second viewing would make me like it. Unfortunately it only made me dislike this film even more! :(

It's really weird because most movies I hate, I hate them and that's the end of it. But The Incredibles is a movie that I don't want to hate, but I do! :( The same thing with Monsters Inc! IMO one of the worst films (animated or not) even created, I mean I would rather take The Black cauldron or the abyssmal Shark Tale over Monsters Inc!

So to sum up, even though I can't stand the Incredibles, you would probably like it! Although if I were you, I'd get Home on the Range! You can't go wrong with a yodelling cattle rustler! :D

pixar's most matur movie (and my personnal favorite with Toy story2), a mivie that you can watch again and again without getting bored and you'll find a lot of details at each vision. Ysterday i noticed that GazerBeam was at the wedding of Bob and Helen at the bzginning!
