RIP John Ritter AND Johnny Cash
Could 9.11 get any worse year-after-year?
We lose a music icon and a genuinely funny and endearing actor, the latter of which was actually on teh set of his sitcom when he was afflicted.
Very, very sad.

Re: RIP John Ritter AND Johnny Cash
I heard about Johnny Cash, but not John Ritter..
Sad...
I was a fan of both...
And I think more kids died in developing countries today than did on September 11 2001.
A Korean farmer committed suicide in protest of the plight of farmers around the world facing the WTO's devastating policies today (well, yesterday for me) in Cancun.
Yep, it COULD get a lot worse.
Sad...
Yeah - has it really been 30 years since those 10,000 people in Chile died at the hands of a CIA sponsored military coup?indianajdp wrote:Could 9.11 get any worse year-after-year?.

LOL! I've always loved that picture.STASHONE wrote:LONG LIVE JOHNNY CASH!
Anyways...
I hate when people die out of nowhere like this, it's so upsetting. Especially since it was a cool guy like John Ritter. I always liked Three's Company (well, who doesn't?) and I was just starting to get into 8 Simple Rules as well.
Johnny Cash too, I can't say I was his biggest fan or anything, but I was just starting to get into his music, cause I seem to have been missing out all these years. Although it's not as much of a shock as John Ritter, it's still just as sad.
Hope they're both in a better place.
It still sucks though.

Cash is dead. Long live Cash.
This post brought to you by 'Ring of Fire' and the Cash cover of Trent Reznor's (NIN) 'Hurt'.

It is extremely sad, he was so young, unlike Johnny Cash who has basically been living on borrowed time since the 50's.
Did you know that Ritter even threw out some words to live by, he always had a flare for the dramatic. He said "life is like a cookie and your friends are the chocolate chips", just before he went out. Again RIP to both of them.

What was that you were saying about showing everyone respect the other day?MickeyMouseboy wrote:Jonny Cash can't sing! he so sucks and gives me headaches!
Well, he is dead now, so I guess you can go back to using your head for more productive purposes.

And these things always come in threes.Kayleigh02 wrote:As for two entertainers dying on the same day...Eric Carr, the long time drummer for KISS (much longer than Peter Criss) and Freddy Mercury died on the same day - November 24, 1991. Man, I hate that day...
Is there another famous John?

maybe in his early day he could, but his recent stuff was so awful sounded like he's been smoking 20 packs a week for all his life. is like give up dude. but oh well he's dead and i hope he rests in peace. I just hope his record label doesn't turn him in a elvis presley or 2pac. even after dead they keep putting cds and new singles out
MMB, i'm glad that you can post your opinion here in the safety of this forum. don't mess up and say that out loud somewhere. very large men who are very big fans of johnny cash would be very unhappy with you.
i agree, bad taste in this thread.
put it in the "johnny cash sucks" thread.
i watched the E! Hollywood story on "three's company" this morning. it was so odd to think of John Ritter gone...
