Pocahontas II (comments)

Post by Evil Genie Jafar »

I went to rent WHITE NOISE but couldn't find it. Was going to rent DARKNESS but changed my mind. Then wanted one of the JUSTICE LEAGUE episodes but the want I wanted wasn't there. So I ended up with POCAHONTAS II.

I didn't find it was too bad but I was suprised by certain things:

GOOD POINTS

1. That they could establish that by the time passed (altough don't mention how much) feelings change and Pocahontas could find another love.

2. The love triangle. A very common and real situation.

3. For the most part they kept the comedy to a minimum and as such didn't feel so forced.

The only extremely BAD POINT I found:

1. As I said, it was good that they showed how feelings change between people. And even tough Pocahontas found John Smith things weren't the same. BUT, I just can't believe that a love that meant so much for John in the end was so insignificant. How come he just could forget about her like that so easily because he wanted adventures?

:? That was so shallow and can't fit with his previous feelings (especially with "If I never knw you")

It was unbelievable.

Other than that I thought it was a good movie.

Then after all the troubles, and after she saved his very rear he just say:"Oh, but I´m a free soul looking for adventures, I can´t aboard the ship of marriage"?

I could imagine it of Pocahontas, but from the blondy?
Thanks for letting me know and prevent me of waist my time :thumb:

I don't think it's a waste of time. Sure, Smith and Pocahontas should be inseparable, but there's other cool stuff in the movie that's nice to see such as Pocahontas living in a more 'civilized' place and how she continues to defend justice. :)
