For some reason Pocahontas II is one of my favourite of the Disney sequels. I decided to buy it the same day as the first movie was released and yeah it was almost $10 more than the 10th Anniversary Edition plus the DVD case inside was broken and the disc got free and scratched up. Tomorrow I'm taking it back. :P

Pocahontas II was not a really popular film. So I don't think that we will be seeing a Special Edition release anytime soon. The reason why all 3 of the Lion King films got 2 disc releases are because the Lion King movies are really popular.

Yeah if anything you'd see it re-released on DVD with as much quality as the Aladdin sequels. It would be nice for a two disc set but other movies are sort of more deserving. :)

i'm thinking it'll recieve a single disc revamp as well. I hope they do re-release it though because i can't find it anywhere near me!

I was wondering if maybe they would re-release Pocahontas II and Cinderella II later on this year as a set together. i'm not sure why i think this, but since they are both not that succesful sequels to movies that are being released this year, i thought they might do it that way and sell it the same way they did the aladdin sequels. The only problem is that they are completely different movies, lol so maybe that wouldn't work.

Actually real life is quite a good thing, no doubts, but did Disney really thought of that while creating first Pocahontas? Looks like Disney wants to teach kids a life lesson. I'm not a fan of additional conflicts in the movie (I mean the plot line). If Disney started it's history speculations, then it would be better not to change the storyline.

You know, this one really irks me. The real Pocohantas died. I guess the movie ending was acceptable in that it did not end happily ever after. Cant expect the kiddies to get too upset.

However, revisionist history even when it is an artistic interpretation really bugs me.

Guess what us white folks killed all the natives. Whether by war, disease or intentional starvation.

Hi,

My name is Krystle, and I am new here.

The reason for signing up is, apart from adoring Disney, I would like to know where I can download the music from Pocahontas II: Journey To A New World. If anyone has the music, please be so kind and upload it so I can download it. I have been searching for the music for about a year, and the search is beginning to tire me. I will continue looking for it though.

Thank you in advance.

Krystle
