Mickey Mouse B & W packaging

Post by ChrisK »

I just received a copy of the MMBW Treasures from an Amazon Marketplace seller - the packaging it came in included a cardboard sleeve around the outside.

I have not seen this on any of the Treasures so is this normal??

Sorry I should have made this clearer - the tin was contained in the sleeve.

The sleeve has a picture of Walt walking through a castle archway and Tinkerbell is waving her wand. The text at the top is "Limited Series Collector's Edition"

The only place I've seen these slips you describe used is at Costco. All their DVDs come in these cardboard slips, and I actually remember seein MM in B&W there in the exact slip you refer too.

Ahhhh...yes that makes sense now. I think Jack nailed it ... sounds like a Costco, Sams's Club or BJ's Wholesale Club package.

Is it a wrap-arround slip bordering the lower part of the tin? If so, I got them on all 7 of mine.

No, those are standard for each Treasures release. The one he is speaking of is only used at certain stores for display purposes.

OK, thanks for all this. I just wanted to make sure I had the genuine article in my hands. The shrink wrap has the Buena Vista watermark and so I thought it looked fairly kosher
