Disney on Ice/on Broadway

One of my coworkers remembers seeing a televised production of Disney on Ice with Mulan, starring Michelle Kwan. Does anybody know if this, or other Disney on Ice shows, ever gets rebroadcast or put on video?

I don't think any other Ice or Broadway show that are available on video or might be broadcasted.


I missed the Disney On Ice tours. The tour came at least twice to Washington D.C.

I was wondering if the staff member hands out program "booklets" for the Disney on Ice or Broadway tours.

I might go watch "The Lion King" musical in Baltimore in 2005 since I don't know if the tour will stop in Washington, D.C.

I wonder if I can get a cast member's autograph. That would be cool!

I went to Disney On Ice every year from the ages of 5-12 probably. I've been to a few since then. I saw Toy Story 2 and Beauty and the Beast. I'm such a big kid. I always buy a program book and a flash light haha.

Also I saw the Beauty and the Beast musical when it came to San Francisco in 2002. It was so great.

I have never seen Disney on ice /or Broadway. As I'm a huge theatre lover I would love to see any Disney shows on Broadway or anywhere. *cross fingers*

I've seen two Disney on Ice shows: Beauty and the Beast and 100 Years of Magic. I've also seen the production of The Lion King which was fantastic.

I've seen Aladdin at DCA and thought it was okay, but not great. I thought B&tB at MGM at WDW was MUCH better

You are a big kid. lol! Are the program books only available at New York City? I hope I can buy them in Baltimore too.

It is one of my favorite shows - the music is great, the puppets are wonderful, and even if the acting wasn't so amazing at the two shows I went to (understudy Little Simba forgot his lines) the rest of it is so artistic that you don't even notice. A word of advice - if you go, get an aisle seat. It's very cool.

Aww, kids sometimes forget their lines. I wonder how the play continued after Simba forgot his lines?

I'll try to get an aisle seat in the orchestra section for $72 at Baltimore.

I want to see The Lion King in July at the Hippodrome Performing Arts Center.

I found some seats in row Q and R though. I hope the seats are good. Row Q sounds like it's in the middle of the orchestra section. I'm not sure though. Does anyone have a clue? According to the seating chart, FF is the last row in the orchestra section. I'm not sure though. Any information or advice about theater seats will be greatly appreciated.

The tickets I found for orchestra seats are about $100 USD.

I also hope I don't get lost in Baltimore too. lol!

My friends and I went to Disney Princesses on Ice a year and a half ago or so back because we had free tickets.

It was all fine and dandy, until the lady playing Jasmine almost slipped on the ice. She didn't, though. That woulda ruined the experience somewhat.

The programs were $25 each so we had to forego them. None of us were mad enough to dish out that sort of money for a pamphlet.

I seem to remember an Aladdin on Ice show in England around 1995 or 1996, but I tragically never got to see it.

It lists the all the episodes broadcast on to the TV Show Disneyland, otherwise known as the Wonderful World Of Disney, which includes some Disney On Ice episodes, like Aladdin On Ice and Disney's Greatest Hits On Ice.
On the site imdb.com, they list the show that you're refering to as "Reflections On Ice - Michelle Kwan Skates to the Music of Mulan".

It hasn't been released on video, nor has any other Disney On Ice production, and we can only hope that Disney will release a DVD with all the Disney On Ice shows on it, alas, it is only a dream.
Also, in Australia, a Saturday morning kids TV show, called Saturday Disney, visits the Disney On Ice shows, every time they come to town. The three hosts chat to the makers of the show and they talk to the performers. I've got four of these episodes on tape, and as a matter of fact, I taped the fourth one an hour or two ago, with the Princess Classics On Ice. The show includes three Disney TV Shows and the time between those shows and the ads is the Saturday Disney part. The current shows are House Of Mouse, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers and lastly Lilo and Stitch- the series. It runs for two hours, from 7:00am to 9:00 am. The current hosts are Daniel Widdowson(2000-), Sara Groen(2002-) and Shae Brewster(2002-).

The only broadway show I went to was the Lion King. My Dad hated it(and he loves Lion King) but I enjoyed it! I still prefer the movie though!

i've seen beauty and the beast and lion king on stage and next week i'm seeing mary poppins for my birthday. i've seen diseny on ice shows 8 times and seeing it this year

I collect the various Disney dolls, whenever "Disney on Ice" rolls into town. Are these dolls also sold throughout the various Disney parks?

I love collecting Disney dolls, and currently of the "Disney on Ice" dolls I have:

Cinderella (dark pink & silver box with Disney on Ice logo plus the Disney Princess logo); Belle, Aurora, Jasmine and Ariel (light pink boxes with Princess Classics and Disney on Ice logos).

The only Disney on Ice dolls that im familiar with were the princess release dolls from a couple of years ago that include ice skates that were sold in the disney store, catalog, & online catalog.
Havent seen any Disney On Ice dolls at the parks.

I was thinking they'd re-package them for the shops throughout the parks.

I don't pay a lot of attention to these dolls as I'm not a big fan of their quality, but I'm pretty sure they're different from the ones sold at the theme parks.
