Get A Clue?

Post by James »

Hi,
Is the new DCOM DVD movie, Get A Clue, really as bad as this site's review makes it out to be? I would've thought that it would've been a little bit better.
And would you classify Lindsay Lohan, in this movie, as young Lindsay, (The Parent Trap and the TV Movie Lifesize) or teen Lindsay(Freaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls)?

Mmmm, not postive responses for this movie :headshake:. I actually expected something more on par with say Cadet Kelly, which is possibly the best and most well known DCOM of all time. Well, how wrong I was.
And I was thinking of classifying Linsay as teen Lindsay, but then I read the review and I saw the pictures of her, and she looked so young, and then I reconsidered my classification.

I'm gonna buy it because I LOVE Lindsay and I liked the movie but it isn't my favorite DCOM.

I haven't seen it, but I'm a big fan of the DCOMs and Lindsay Lohan, so I'm going to rent it, and I'm sure I'll buy it later.

I'll more than likely buy it when it comes out with the Parent Trap Special Edition in a week or so.

It aired on the Disney Channel a long time ago, as is explained in Luke's review.

Yeah, I would've put her in that category because of the fact that it was close to the release of Freaky Friday, which she was definately 'Teen Lindsay'.

I liked 'Twas the Night, it was definently in my top 20.

In regards to my top ten, I have a list over on my Listimania. If you wanna check it out see the link below. It has a list of all the DCOMs and all the DCOM DVDs and dates. See here:My Amazon DCOM DVD Page

I may rent this, but I've seen a few parts on TV and it looked mediocre.

Yeah . . . I saw it once a long time ago, but it was obviously forgettable because . . . well . . . I don't really remember it!

Thanks for answering my question. So, P.U.N.K.S and Kim Possible- A Sitch In Time weren't DCOMs! I always had suspicions that P.U.N.K.S wasn't and I knew that Kim Possible - A Sitch In Time was basically three episodes made into a movie, but thanks for clearing that up!
Why isn't Lizzie McGuire in your signature though? It's possibly the best Disney Channel Original Series ever made!
Also, is Cadet Kelly, The Even Stevens Movie, Get A Clue and the Halloweentown Trilogy on your top 20 list?
What is your fave Zenon movie? What is your fave Halloweentown movie?
And, out of curiousity, how old are you?
