Have any other DVD collections besides Disney?

Post by kk1124 »

I've started to collect all of Marilyn Monroe's, Audrey Hepburn's, and Natalie Wood's DVDs. And James Dean, but he only has three substantial ones to speak of.

Mostly just certain directors: Tarantino and Chris Nolan, mostly.

Oh, and I buy every Simpsons DVD that comes out.

I have quite a few DVDs of general classic films (Some Like it Hot, Casablanca, Wizard of Oz etc). I guess that you could count them.

Aside from Disney DVDs I collect Star Wars films and The Adventure of Rocky and Bullwinkle(the show) on DVD. Aside from that I don't really collect anything. I just get what I can get.

The only other DVDs I have are those cheap, bare-boned ones that came free in cereal boxes: The Mask (probably Jim Carrey's worst ever), an excruciatingly boring live-action Alice in Wonderland, and Spy Kids (which I always thought was way overrated).

I dont really collect any certain actor or directors movies. I collect the Friends seasons and I'm trying to collect all the Sex and the City and Dawson's Creek seasons once I find good deals. I'm also gonna get the O.C. seasons in the future.

I'm an avid collector of animation in general, and Disney is just a part of that. I don't pick up every animated title, just the ones that interest me. I'm really excited about Danger Mouse coming out at the end of the month, for example, and I'm praying for box sets of Daria. I have the Critic (I love Jon Lovits' voice), some Simpsons, Ren & Stimpy (I was disappointed with the editing but I'm still looking forward to the next set), Stripperella, Looney Tunes, Teen Titans, Powerpuff Girls, etc., just to point out the variety I enjoy.

I'm into a lot of mostly shoujo anime. I literally have every Sailor Moon DVD legally available in America and then some, and I also have all the episodes of Fushigi Yuugi, Chobits, Magic User's Club, Oh My Goddess, Video Girl Ai, Dragon Helf, and I'm working on getting more Lupin the 3rd (TV series and movies), Wedding Peach, Nadia, Fruits Basket, Original Dirty Pair, Ayashi no Ceres, and more. I can't wait until the Peach Girl series reaches America; I've been waiting on that forever (I love the manga)!

I only occasionally buy live-action films, because although I do enjoy them, I don't feel the compelling need to own them like I do animation. Still, I had to get the Back to the Future trilogy and I'm planning on getting the Indiana jones trilogy as well. I also enjoy a lot of family features like Willy Wonka, Wizard of Oz, and the Muppet Movies (of which I need to get more).

Mostly just Disney and a few that I like (You've Got Mail, The Client, Jurassic Park, whatever else I happen to see that's cheap). But soon I'm DETERMINED to get all four of the Felicity seasons. I'm short on cash now but will most likely end up either asking for them for xmas or finding some way to buy them. :)

Eventually I'll get the Dawson's creek ones as well. :D

oh gosh, I don't know how to answer this question..
Box sets we get. You know, like the Trilogies and Gift Sets?

otherwise if we were to break it down, I've just started collecting Audrey Hepburn and then I'm moving to Julie Andrews. <3

But I keep focusing on the new releases, I forget to buy the classics. :(

And (some) Fox TV Shows because they're hilarious! (yea yea, we only have Season 1 though of those shows. I like sale... O_o)

And ROMANTIC movies! :D
