Gargoyles: Second Season?

Post by guiltyskin »

Does anyone know when the Second Season of The Gargoyles is being released or if it is being released at all?

This info would help me out so much.

Thanks everyone!

As minimally promoted as Season 1's release was, I'm fairly confident that sales were strong enough to turn a nice amount of profit. Unfortunately, though, there doesn't appear to be any firm plans for a Season 2 release just yet.

From Greg Weisman himself, in Toon Zone's interview:
When asked about the second DVD set, Weisman was unable to give any solid answers. He states the sales were fairly well for the first season, and he hopes to get a definite answer from Disney on the next season set soon.

“They know where to find me,” he adds.

Someone is over on Station 8 (www.s8.org/gargoyles) saying they are working for Disney and trying to get info from the fans on what they want to see on the DVD. Hope the guy is legit and not a fraud. Would be nice if he is legit

Looks legit to me, as Disney uses 3Oh!5 Creative for lots of their bonus features. Thanks for posting!

Actually going to 3Oh!5's website and checking it out, one discovers a neat-looking Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas game that was not on the DVD. What, was it passed up for that oh-so-brilliant "Santa's Sort"?

I have been emailing back and forth with him. Thanks for the info Luke. He does seem legit. Which is wonderful!

His name and email are Chad Kultgen chad@3oh5.com
He is looking for fans in the LA area to film interviews for the DVD. Email him if you fit this criteria. He asked if I could fly over to LA, wish I could :(

I am taking donations though ;)

I wanna be in the interview in my full gargoyle costume!!

Thanks everyone for the info!

I loved the Gargoyles when I was a kid and I think the series is worth buying for my daughter. I just dont want to start a collection if Disney will not be releasing anymore seasons.

Please keep me updated on any release dates that you may come across.

Thanks again!

I believe that game is on the international Countdown to Christmas dvds. But I would have to check.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I wonder what the cover may look like. I loved the cover for Season 1. I was afraid they were going to stupify it and make it look like it was all kid fun and nothing but humour. But instead, Disney chose to give it something a little darker. And I noticed they didn't say "Disney's Gargoyles". Does Disney think putting their name on that DVD would kill it?

I hope they keep the same theme as the last DVD cover.

YEAH! For once, I was actually first to dish the news!!! I am always so behind! :D

Now I must start working on a Gargoyles Season 2 commercial. Damn my craptacular Season 2 VHS tapes :( I've overkilled watching them so much that they are in pretty poor condition. Most of the episodes anyways. You can tell which episodes I overkill by how much tracking is over them :P

Gargoyles DVD Sets?

Post by Eliana »

I was a big fan of "Gargoyles" when I was younger, and was really happy when they released the Season 1 DVD set. I keep hoping that more Gargoyles episodes will be released on DVD....Does anyone know if there are any plans to release Season 2, and if so, when?

Hi everyone! I'm new here. I just came by to tell you that Greg Weisman, the creator of Gargoyles, confirmed the news last night. The news that a season two DVD is in production is indeed legit. :D

You can see the news on the Station comment room:

or it was when Goliat takes Odin´s power?
