Don't hold your breath, Studio ghibli films will never stand a chance on this web site lol, especially when you got closed minded "disney fanatics" voting :D them off because they never seen them or because they are baddly animated.
I think that statement is unfair. Now people feel forced to consider a Studio Ghibli film, even if they don't enjoy it all that much. I for one just overall prefer the Disney way of animation, it doesn't mean I'm closed minded. :)

Well DisneyFan, its no big deal but the facts speak for them selves lol, fact is most all ghibli films and even Spirited Away (you know the poorly animated film that won a Academy Award not to mention many other awards) got voted off before alot of other crappy films lol, what impression would that give most new people checking out this site lol :)

When I got turn onto this disney site because of www.nausicaa.net and check out many posts... what I seen was mostly fanatic disney freaks that seem to think there is no better animated film than a disney film and the impression I get from some here is that some disney fanatics would loose sleep or commit hairy carry if a disney film did not come out on top lol. Don't get me wrong I like disneys stuff too (I grew up with it and I am a big animation fan) and after all it IS a disney fan site but the fact is some Miyazaki films put much of disney made stuff to shame lol. The fact is Disney is involed with these films because they are excellent and fact is they ARE disney films now too. I am saying this because I have took the time to rent/see/buy many/most of his stuff. I just get the impression from some here that they don't have a clue lol :D , IMO, if there was such a thing as a Disney klu klutz klan (DISNEY! POWER!) lol imo, it's here lol j/k

Anyway don't read to much into my comments, I don't mean to offend it's all in fun and just a game, it's just the way I see it hanging out at this site:)

I really hope a crappy non disney film wins in the end lol :D :o :D :o

sorry for the long post

Why don't we all just declare a truce in the next round and found out five films based on consensus, if everyone seems to be getting defensive that their choices are being targeted. This way, we can take a round off from arguing. I'm a pretty new member of this game, but I'm sure no one will argue against voting out the remaining Disney package features, or some non-Disney, non-Miyazaki, non-Pixar film and a Disney sequel.

My suggestions:

The Three Caballeros
Saludos Amigos
Make Mine Music
Charlot's Web
The Search for Christopher Robin

Any suggestions? :)

Interesting idea. We can have a one-round truce, and then get back to our war refreshed. I don't have a problem with those 5 choices.

No offence guys, but why???, it's a game and as far as any Ghibli/Disney films go I can't see it making any diffrence anyway on this site with the type of fanatic "disney or death" menbers here.

Fact is that the amount of people/members here that have even SEEN a Miyazaki film (with an open mind) are very few/minoraty on this site to even comment on them.

It is truly a wonder to me that when I have looked for info on these ghibli/disney films that only on a "disney fan site" would I see so much negative things being said about films that people never even seen, wich is more strange when you consider Disney went to SO MUCH effort on/with these films  . This is why I even logged on to this site... to offer a diffrent voice in the sea of hitler youth j/k, oops lol  ,did I say that  ,I ment disney youth :D :D :D

I would say to the klan members ... continue as you are... :D
