I just called to get a slipcover from Finding Nemo and POTC and the customer service person told me they don't ship limited time slipcovers anymore.
She also said it was a new policy.

I just called a few minutes ago. I'm getting a slipcover for Beauty and the Beast. This was my first time calling them. I didn't run into any problems with the service person, but I was too afraid to ask for a Finding Nemo slipcover too, since getting one seemed like such a big deal. Maybe I'll call again a lot later.

The same thing happened when I phoned today. They don't have Bambi or Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversary or The Incredibles. She told me to buy the DVD when they first come out as the slipcovers are only on for a limited time. They have to resend me The Lion King One And A Half and Aladdin as the letter carrier squeezed into my mailbox. I live in an apartment and the package was oversize and was squeezed in and now it's all wrinkled. I told her to put "Do Not Bend" on the envelope and she said they would anad that hopefully it will come without being bent this time.MickeyMousePal wrote:I just called to get a slipcover from Finding Nemo and POTC and the customer service person told me they don't ship limited time slipcovers anymore. She also said it was a new policy.

I never told her that I didn't have any. Aladdin and The Lion King One And A Half were damaged by the letter carrier and I can't get more as I'm at my limit of 5. She also said they didn't have Bambi, Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversayr or The Incredibles slipcover.PMcOuntry wrote:Hmmm, they sent me B&theBeast, Mary Poppins & Finding Nemo, I just said they were damaged. Don't tell them you never had them if they ask.

Is Disney they only one that does slipcovers. The only DVD I have with a slipcover that isn't Disney is the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Special Edition. A book is attached to the case that holds the DVD.

why call?Nedakh wrote:I just called for Pocahontas and they don't have it
There are lots of Pocahontas DVDs with slipcovers @ Wal-mart and Best Buy and Target...
(and my eyes will ROLL (again) if we get into another discussion on how it's completely 'wrong' to get a slipcover from there and blah blah blah

If Pocahontas is limited time, they probably won't ship them. The only reason I'm getting Aladdin and The Lion King is because they were damaged in transit.

Just call, you'll regret it when they really do run out of the slipcovers.DreamerQ18 wrote:MickeyMousePal wrote:I just called to get a slipcover from Finding Nemo and POTC and the customer service person told me they don't ship limited time slipcovers anymore. She also said it was a new policy.

I think that some Disney Customer Service employees read this forum!
Pretty soon, they won't be replacing our damaged slipcovers unless we give them our damaged ones for a new one!
DreamerQ18, you should've given her a piece of your mind!
How dare she be mean to someone as nice as you!
But if I were you, I'd call again..never hurts to try. This time you can say your slipcover for Mulan II was damaged!

Has anyone called for a replacement of Lady and the Tramp because I'm thinking of replacing my disc. Disney Customer Service had acted rude lately.... If your reading this DCS I think you guys suck.

They don't "replace" or "send out" boxes (i.e.: Aladdin Gift Set, Lion King Gift Set, Lion King trilogy box, Fantasia Box...)magicalwands wrote:Seriously though! I'm so mad I didn't get the Lion King Trilogy Set and I bought the movies seperately. I want the nice box the three-set comes in.
I will try and call for one tomorrow.
The LK Trilogy is still being sold at Best Buy. Perhaps you can sell your movies somewhere to buy the boxset...

I'd rather have the slipcovers for TLK and I got the slipcovers even though I bought it as a triology.
