Well, not everybody has the option of importing. Up until six months ago, I didn't.

You can find a way of importing if you really want to. I mean, if it's about credit card for ordering on the inernet, you gently ask a friend or relative who do have a card to buy it for you. Or you buy it in a store which sells imports.

So, I take it the Region 2 edition will not have the same special features as the Region 1 edition?

That's not what we said. Try again :D
As every other Platinum Edition release, the DVD bonus features throughout the world for this release will be (almsot) the same, except tiny regional differences.
But, what is only gonna be available in the US is the gorgeous Gift Set.

What I meant is that due to technical problems (such as not having an NTSC compatible DVD or a DVD Rom Drive that was Region 1), I couldn't import. I know that I could have used the help of someone to attain what I desire. But technological problems can lead to difficulties.

While I'm checking all the time to see if the UK Cinderella has been added to the websites, here's something new
http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=ti ... g=72&pa=sr
Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True SE for 3rd October.

Guess thats the Cinderella date too.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it gets a special edition!

I don't think Cinderella 2 will get a SE. I mean, Play.com already got missed up about the Disney 2-Discs sets several times. Maybe it's just a single disc rerelease.

I thought it was in print. I'm probably confused because I see it a lot in its original case at my local rental store. :P

Well Cinderella II is out of print here in the UK, so it certainly would be both plausible and sensible for it to get a release at the same time as the SE of Cinderella.

Also it could get special edition treatment! I mean look at the other "SE's" of Disney sequels, remember searching through all those hours worth of bonus features on "Belle's Magical World: Special Edition"? It will probably get another game or song added and that would be morth than enough for Disney to warrant calling it a SE!

Cinderella and Tarzan will get some boxsets here in Finland including the sequels, but I'll stick with the normal DVD's because I want to be sure I get the normal cases. Lilo & Stitch SE will get the same treatment in Autumn here. Why can't they just release Gift Sets instead or beside these boxes? :(
Disney DVD's 2005: Bambi PE, Alice in Wonderland SE, Tarzan SE, Cinderella PE - much much more!
