I see now that the Disney Website has updated their specs for Ella Enchanted to say 1.33: 1. Uh-oh, that's not a good sign. DVD Planet is still taking pre-orders for both versions (widescreen and full frame). We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed that a widescreen version will also be available.

It seems that the first cover I posted (the blue one) will be the final cover, which I'm glad of because it looks better than the yellow one. The widescren version of that blue cover will have a yellow banner (sigh) instead of a dark blue one.

Yes, of course they do. But Miramax and Touchstone films are normally covered on Video.com.
Luke I could be wrong but I think Disney owns the DVD rights.... and besides, the Spy Kids films were covered under DisneyDVD.com and they were Dimension so who knows.

Question about Ella Enchanted

Post by MissV327 »

I saw in this week's Target circular that Ella Enchanted is marked down to $10. I've noticed that after movies have been out for some time that Target marks them down and it is pretty much a permanent thing. So my question is, now that Target has Ella marked down to $10 do you think that this is just a one week only price reduction or is it more of a permanent price reduction (like Freaky Friday, etc) ???

It's just for the week. Target usually has every other week or so a few movies that are on sale for that week for only $10 and the next week it goes back it its normal Target pricing.

I'm thinking of picking up Ella Enchanted this week sometime since its so cheap.

I bought it for $13, so a markdown of $10 would be $3???

I was going to get the new release of Widescreen, but I thought, I already have it in Fullscreen, so why replace it now... Widescreen looks so small on my set, so I usually only get my animated stuff in Widescreen.

Is, Ella Enchanted a really good movie ? It has been on my need to buy list for the past 4 months but I have never really looked into it.

It's hysterical! I loved it! If you liked the Princess Diaries, then you'll love Elle Enchanted, or any fairy tale for that matter, like Ever After, movies like that. It is so funny, the music is great! I can watch it over and over!
