Brother Bear Soundtrack

Post by Prince Adam »

Just heard from animated-movies.net that Jump 5 (yes, those American Idol rejects who ruined Beauty and the Beast) will be performing the song "Welcome" written by Phil Collins on the soundtrack, and possibly in the film.

Though you'd want to know.

They've also got Phil Collins (of course), Tina Turner, and a boys' chior doing some tracks, I think. It should be an interesting mix. Call me crazy though, I think Jump 5 might be able to do a nice job on a Disney song that was written for them (as opposed to, say, Beauty and the Beast, which was remade by them.) I'll give it a chance and will definitly be buying the CD.

Phil Collins, Jump 5 and Tina Turner?
Wow - you don't see that much mediocrity outside the Top 40.

And to think Disney used to be a dead cert for the Best Song Oscar.
