I would be floored if ANYTHING brought Doris Day back to Hollywood. Hopefully her voice is still pleasant to hear, though.

June Allyson, wow....I think you're right, Disney should get her for something while they still can. She's 87 years old now.

I wouldn't mind hearing Fran Drescher in a movie. Sure, her voice is "annoying", but that's part of her charm.

Oh wait, I know - put Fran Drescher, Jennifer Tilly, Rosie Perez, and Gilbert Gottfried together in a film. That'd be a hoot!

Actually, I'd like to hear actors WITH INTERESTING AND DISTINCTIVE VOICES do a Disney film. I'm thinking of John Spencer (Leo McGarry on "The West Wing"), Anthony Zerbe, Michael Madsen, Amanda Plummer, Mercedes Ruehl, and Queen Latifah. There are unquestionably plenty of others.

Did anyone mention Ben Stiller, if you have I'm sorry. Anyways, I think he would be good as a villian. If you've ever watched Dodge Ball, you would know what I'm talking about. Stephen Root would be good too, actually he already was in Finding Nemo, and Ice Age. So there needs to be more Disney movies with him because he is so funny.

Wait...Reese Witherspoon in Rapunzel!? Tight...is this a sure thing? I looked on IMDB.com and it only shows that Kristen actress as the voice.

Well, last I heard of Reese Witherspoon's involvement was that she was trapped in Rapunzel's fairy tale world with some guy, and that she was helping the princess with something...

But this may have changed if they're going with the whole squirrel-hound thing...

Only one of the funniest drag queens ever! Divine was in Hairspray with Ricky Lake and Jerry stiller, and Blondie and some other people.. this is one of John Waters more main stream movies. There was others that are a lot funnier, more hard core. John Waters movies are not for everyone, especially kids...

There's no way that Disney would let that person even come near their studio if he was still alive. Their movies, especially nowadays, are targeted for a very young audience who don't understand what the word "drag" means except for "Linus drags his blanket around the floor."

voices

Post by Joshrzmeup »

Fran Drescher, maybe....

But I think maybe Lauren Grahm or Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls would be good voices.
For singing, Disney needs to use The Corrs, or just the lead singer, Andrea Corr. She did the singing voice in 'Quest For Camelot' and did a good job, too.

I for one wish they would quit using "celebrities" for voices. I think they sometimes partially or even fully build the character around the actor and I hate that. I want an original character that is not a mime of some "celebrity."
