We are reading Romeo and Juliet in my Language Arts class.

And I am also reading Impeachable Offense, the second of the LEFT BEHIND POLITICAL SERIES.

We just finished reading The Canterbury Tales in English class and we'll start Macbeth soon. I'm so excited. Yay. Macbeth. Bubble Bubble Toil and Trouble. Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble. Yay.

Anyhow, I still want to get Wicked and Mirror Mirror so I could read them, but I never have time to free read anymore with all this school stuff! GAAAHHH!

I usually read newsletters that are sent to my email folder. Like Sesame Street Parenting, I visit IVillage.com for more info on expectant mothers (which I am expecting in September), I read a lot of articles about babies and parenting. I am learning and researching. I also got pamphlets from my Doctor on what my hospital stay will be like. And all the information I'll need to know. I am also reading Glamour, and First.

Have fun with "Macbeth." It's an interesting story, except that when I read it for an essay class over the summer everyone complained that it was like Shakespeare was writing in a completely different language.

I am currently reading "Mirror Mirror" for school (I'm homeschooled and every so often my mom will let me choose a book to read for literature, and I chose "Mirror Mirror")and it's gotten a lot better. The first couple chapters were weird, especially since it was mostly poetry. But if you've gotten past Part II, tell me what you think. It could get better, I don't know.

So in other words, you're pregnant and you want to make sure that you can be the best parent that you can. Cool. Is it a boy or a girl? Have you thought about names?

and the reason I know that is we did the exact same stuff in my Senior English class

I remember having to recite the first 18 lines of the prologue in Old English for the Canterbury Tales. I got an A on the speech so it was worth it.

As for what I'm reading three books now:

Shatterpoint-A Star Wars novel, been on this one for awhile.

Golden Boy-by Paul Hornung former Green Bay Packer

For a classic read

Brave New World.

I'm currently reading Vancouver by David Cruise and Alision Griffiths.

It's a novel and it's very long. The story starts in 13,477 B.C. amd gpes tp 2003 A.D. It's similar in style to James A. Mitchener's Hawaii and Alaska.

The manga: Angel Sanctuary:

My first manga (and it can also be the only one... not because I don't like the story but because they're way too expensive).

I had the anime already, and knew what it was about. Then a Japanese friend once told me that things went so much interesting so I was quite intrigued. I always told myself if there was going to be just one manga I'd buy it'll be this one.

Anyways, it has to do with angels and demons, alongside so many taboo themes. It is way too much to explain but I'll give a brief synopsis:
Setsuna is a high school boy who is the reincarnation of one of the most powerful angels there are. However, she was condemened to be a fallen angel after she lead a rebellion against God. Now angels and demons are looking forward to awaken her spirit. However, Setsuna (the guy) doesn't care about all this since he has a very serious dilemma: he's in love with his sister.

I just love stories that have to deal with angels and demons. And this one happens to be quite complicated as well as extremely detailed, since it manages with so many characters and their proper herarchy in both Heaven and Hell ranks.

PS

There's just something bad about this series: it's 20 volumes in all. And on top of that, there has been released only 7 volumes so far: I've got 1 trough 6... this Friday I'm going for number 7; while 8 comes out in summer.

Im reading a book called Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner. It's about a 28 yr old woman's plunge into misery after she "opens up a natioal women's magazine & sees the words "Loving a Larger Woman" above her ex-boyfriens byline." It's an interesting story

I also haven't been able to put down another book called In My Skin, which is a British-made graphic novel about Eminem. Overall, I'm pretty amazed at the accuracy (even though I've still found a few mistakes).

I'm reading Grimms' Fairy Tales. The cover says "Complete and Unabridged" but I'm beginning to suspect that that's a lie. I've heard before that in The Frog Prince, the princess throws the frog against the wall and he awakes as a prince. But in the version in this book, she just wakes up one morning and he's a prince. And one of my teachers said that she has a version of Cinderella in which a bird pecks out the eyes of one of the stepsisters, but in my version the bird just sits on Cindy's shoulder and doesn't peck. I am outraged!

I expected some really disturbing, gory stories!
