Any Requests For DVD Reviews?

Post by James »

Hi Guys! You all don't know how surreal it is being able to talk to you! See my dad wouldn't let me have an e-mail address and I thought that you had to have one to join, which you do, but then I realised that I could use my Dad's one instead of starting up one of my own.........LOL............. I'm so damn stupid!

Anyway, I have been going onto this website for a year and a half now and I have soooo wanted to see some DVDs get reviewed but they haven't and so now I'm starting a topic to see what other DVDs people want to get reviewed, because I'm sure that there are other people like me out there!

This is my list
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas
Mickey's Magical Christmas - Snowed In at the House of Mouse
Mickey's House Of Villains
Beauty and the Beast - The Enchanted Christmas
Recess Christmas - Miracle on Third Street
Disney's Very Merry Christmas Sing-Along Songs
Walt Disney Treasures - Silly Symphonys
The Tigger Movie
A Goofy Movie
Toothless
The Cheetah Girls
Rodgers and Hammersteins Cinderella
The Music Man
Mr St. Nick
Santa Who?
Child Star - The Shirley Temple Story
The Santa Clause
The Santa Clause 2
AND
Hocus Pocus

Whewww!!!!!!!!
That was a lot of typing!
Anyway guys I have more questions and information on stuff that I'll post in the next day or two but I have to go now
Bye!!

Welcome to the forum, James! Nice to have a new member who's enthusiastic about the site, able to put together coherent sentences, and reads the reviews. :eye:

From your list, the two Santa Clause movies, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, and The Tigger Movie are all things I've wanted to review, and in some cases started. But I've been much too busy with new titles to tackle the old ones and give them justice. They'll get done at some point, and Hocus Pocus too, but it may be a little while.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy a surreal time at this forum!

Hey Luke! Thanks for posting on my topic!
Your my first friend I've made at the forum! :)

I've been browsing through the forum the past few days and I've noticed how organised it is and how great it is to be able to communicate with other Disney fans. I know that there is only so many times I talk to my twin brother about Disney Channel Original Movies!

I was just wondering though what is your personal favourite movie?
And if your wondering-though you're probably not- I'm only 13.

It's on my not-too-large "To Do" list. Maybe by the end of this weekend, but I might decide to do Pooh's Heffalump Movie first.

Personally, I would really love a review of Pooh's Heffalump Movie. My aunt LOVES anything related to Winnie the Pooh. I was thinking of buying Heffalump as a gift for her, but I wanted to make sure it was worth buying first. :)

Luke reviewed the original That Darn Cat very recently. Is that the one you wanted? The remake hasn't been reviewed here. You can find a list of links to all the site's DVD reviews here: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/reviewindex.htm

Anyone is welcome to post a review on the forum. As for site reviews, Luke generally doesn't take requests. If he honored all the requests of people who wanted to do reviews, he'd spend so much time formatting and editing the reviews he wouldn't have time to do anything else for the site.

What review? I haven't reviewed anything at all on this site. I think that you might have me confused with someone else, but thanks for welcoming me - this is the second time I've thanked you now, as I've already done so on your 'My Little Announcement' page, but I just can't help myself! :D

Oh gosh, I didn't know! Sorry Luke and Pinkrenata! Better keep my mouth shut next time!
Great review of Who Framed Roger Rabbit! Great Work!
And how many times a day, do you guys think that a person should post? I've posted about 4 or 5 times today. Is that too much or too little? I'm new at this so I don't really know. Hmmm...

See you tomorrow!

You shouldn't worry about posting too little or too much unless a UD-er tells ya (which isn't going to happen because you're posting just fine! :))

As Luke said..."Nice to have a new member who's enthusiastic about the site, able to put together coherent sentences, and reads the reviews."

So no problem.

And I can't believe I forgot this...:o But...
Welcome to the forum, James!

Meaning requests for people to do reviews, not requests for titles you want to see reviewed. Your requests were entirely fine. And no one needs to apologize for a simple confusion; it's just that people hit me with review requests for all directions, when if I would like someone to review something, I'll generally ask them.

Hi guys!
JiminyCrick91 - Its all right about the error. Everybody makes mistakes!
Luke - I haven't said anything yet about it but, LOVE the avatar! I've been meaning to comment on it, but I forgot everytime! And sorry about misinterpreting what pinkrenata said! I was in a rush, so I just skimmed it and replied hurriedly!
MickeyMousePal - Thanks for the welcome, and I agree that he is a busy man!
RJKD23 - Again, thanks for the welcome and thanks for the compliment! :) Also, I loved that signature(I think) that you used to have: the one with the baby Disney characters - Donald, Goofy, Pooh Bear, Mickey, Minnie, Piglet, Bambi and Pluto - sooo cute! But I love the current avatar too!

Yeah, welcome to the forum, James! Like Luke said, it's great having people who join and want even more reviews to read first thing! :)

Thanks Awallaceunc (Aaron) for the welcome! :) Gee, everyone here is so supportive of new members. I hope that I will be as kind to a new member, as everyone is to me!
Luke, if it isn't too inquisitive of me to ask - how old are you? I'm just a little curious.
