For those interested, Best Buy has some very good deals on CDs right now, including that Aerosmith Ultimate Hits double-discer for $14.99 (I got the difference from what I just paid for it + 10% back today).

Also, I got Jars of Clay's Redemption Songs today.

Bought the first two EPs from The Pictures last night (on CD) - "I Dealt a Rollercoaster" and "Singin' Just to See".

I also bought Ryan Adams' "This is It" EP on vinyl, and The Shins second LP, "Chutes Too Narrow" (also on vinyl). So not really new CDs, but it is the first music I've bought in a while.

I was about to make a comment about the collective hairstyles and sex-appeal of the men on those covers, until I noticed the somewhat groovy Retro Sci-Fi boxsets with Wind-Up Retro Walking Metal Toy Robots that Oldies.com has on offer.

Check it out:

Yeah those Retro Sci-Fi Box sets are interesting. Some great movies inside. But yeah, those singers have always been some of my favorites, I like a lot of the oldies lol.

The Futureheads.

I don't know how widely they have been heard, but they are quite good.

Hey isn't there suppose to be a new Van Halen album coming out soon? I think it was Van Halen. Or maybe it was Motley Crue. I don't know that's why I'm asking.

Haha, well I haven't been here in a while and I've bought a lot of new CDs. So let's see . . .
The Shins - Chutes Too Narrow
Kaiser Chiefs - Employment
Loretta Lynn - Van Lear Rose
The Libertines - Up the Bracket
Bright Eyes - Digital Ash in a Digital Urn
The Dresden Dolls - The Dresden Dolls
The Kills - No Wow
So yes . . . a fair amount . . . all excellent (except Bright Eyes, sadly)
Oh and Loomis, the Futureheads are quite good, aren't they?
